A title shot against the #1 Super middleweight & top 3 p4p fighter in the world..........

He'd best stay away frim SOG and Triple G. They'd both beat him to death. That mess last night was a joke. Not sure what rounf it was but son landed 5 punches and threw like 30 plus.

“The Pittsburgh Kid,” undefeated former world champion Paul Spadafora (48-0-1, 19 KOs) will likely take on Johan “El Terrible” Perez (17-1-1, 12 KOs) on November 30th for the WBA’s interim championship at welterweight. The fight will top a Golden Boy Promotions card at the Mountaineer Casino in Chester, West Virginia, site of Spadafora’s last three outings. No TV details announced yet.

There is speculation that fight could lead to Golden Boy Promotions bringing Spadafora into the fold as a possible undefeated opponent for Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Several years ago there was a sparring session between Spadafora and Mayweather in which Spadafora got the better of it. Also Spadafora’s undefeated streak is longer than Floyd’s, so there are multiple story lines.

its funny because I was thinking about this....the only thing is, Spady waited too long to get back in the picture...he needs a high profile win. also....I saw that sparring session with Floyd. :usure: think it was his first day back in the gym...and this is when he was fighting at a lower weight and wasnt really in top fighting form.
that sparring session means absolutely shyt.

Is anyone really shocked by this decision though? I was saying to my boys through the whole fight that Vera had no shot of winning a decision against Jr.
Bob Arum has way too many future big money fights down the line for Jr to risk him losing to a journeyman fighter.

And Marty Denkins bum ass continues to show that he is a shytty judge. He will always come down on the side of the big name Top Rank fighter over a lesser known dude just like he did in the Bradley/Provodnikov fight.

Obviously that wasnt anyway near the best Jccjr

Hell look back to normal in December

N ready to tear shyt up in 2014:lolbron:

We will see, Chavez said he had a fractured right hand after the fight. With his laziness and recovering from a hand injury, I suspect longer. Not to mention I don't think HBO is too enthused about putting him on...the rumor is they are kinda pissed they decided to invest in him so much.
And Chavez with hand injuries is :skip:, dude isn't good enough to beat many people if he doesn't have his hands well enough to throw KO shots.

Yeah. Sounds like Spadafora has been having a lot of personal issues, so he needs to get his life on track. But that sparring session, agree. Mayweather never really talks about, but has danced around that was one of his eye opening moments that he needs to be in peak form all the time. You can't pull the shyt he did early in his career, or that Broner does now and expect to win just because you have more talent. Guys are out there working just as hard or harder, so you have to put in that hard work, dedication. :smugbiden:
