HBO was being shytted on in its last days and ppl were happy when they were gone from boxing

Now ppl are getting nostalgic and complaining that no one did boxing like them and wish they were airing boxing back on TV

I was NEVER happy about losing ANY boxing programming. I grew up off of WWoS, Boxing on NBC/CBS, USA Network. Man I remember I used to watch boxing at least 4 nights a week! iirc, ESPN had Tuesday and Wednesday Night Fights in addition to Friday Night, USA had Tuesday Night Fights, then you may have a fight on HBO and SHO. Look at all the fighters we saw introduced on Shobox! The first fight I actually remember seeing live on TV was c00ney vs Norton. When I was a kid, it had to be a REALLY big fight to be on closed-circuit. there were some really big fights on cable damn near til mid-90's. at some points even big fights were being shown on tape delay. glad I grew up in the eras where you could see as much boxing as you wanted.

thats his prerogative but we dont have to watch it. also by his interview he said Bud is easy money, ok, so go get that check. he said Benevidez is too big basically. didnt say he WONT fight him but its going to take a lot more money for hit to face David than Bud. so doesnt it sounds like Bud is the make-able fight?

I really dont have a problem with fighters milking the game for what its worth but i wont be around here calling them the GOAT. Carefully matched career, never faced any killers except Floyd and thats because it was a win-win situation. GGG is not no killer, his resume trash af. Kovalev was no killer either because as soon as he stepped up in competition it was a wrap for him. Best win against 49 y/o B-Hop.

I definitely have to look back at ODLH and give him massive credit when comparing his resume to Canelo's. Oscar fought some killers.

Canelo appears to be a good guy, personally. I am not clamoring for him to do anything that doesnt make sense but if Bud is an easy fight that you stand to make close to or more than 100m against, I would think that makes pretty good business sense. He not fighting David....never thought he would anyway.

Bruh this Bud vs Canelo shyt was always dumb lmfao. Bud even said he was good on the fight until Turki talked serious about it then Bud was like oh shyt you gonna pay for it then fukk it. all of this except seeing c00ney vs norton live..im old but not that old lol...TR on ESPN is the last bit of boxing programming that you can watch on a TV/non streaming service is wild to me

Hopefully Shakur doesn't do any long term business with them and more so do things on an individual fight basis. That said Shakur vs Tank is happening on Tank Terms on PBC I promise that because I DO NOT see Turki giving them Canelo type money. Hell if Pitbull got 1.5 and was the second highest paid on the card and Bud got 2.5, I can't see Shakur getting anything crazy he wouldn't have gotten just resigning with TR especially if they were already giving him in that range.
