and see thats what I'm talmbout. its obvious that Matthysse is a harder puncher than Danny because Danny is a better overall fighter than Matthysse.

If Danny punched like Matthysse he wouldve stopped Zab. If Matthysse wouldve been as consistent as Danny he wouldve stopped Zab.

They are all the same level and Zab is a measuring stick. The fact that the 35 year old Zab can hang with these guys should prove that Zab in his prime is better than any of them are now.

There is just not much separation between Garcia, Matthysse, Peterson, or Khan. At least not at the moment.

Zab was doin the same shyt the whole fight?? Really breh?? So I guess when he started throwing the hook N the uppercut in the later rounds that's the same as Zab throwing nothing but Jabs N straight lefts the first 2/3rds of the fight

Who was the last person to knock zab tf out?? He quit against Khan trying to convince the ref it was a low blow....again the Zab Danny fought was much better then the version Khan fought.

it was the same Zab breh...you just dont want to see it because you have your P.R. blinders on. the difference is, the style of Khan is too much for Zab because Zab really dont know how to fight a guy like that. the one thing that was different was...Sweet Pea was in his corner so he was playing good d, but his offense was non-existent.

Zab beat Matthysse, Khan had no problems with Zab, Garcia had more problems with Zab than Matthysse offensively and defensively....yet you think he is the best. They are all the same to me at this point. Suppose Peterson beats Matthysse, then beats Garcia. Then rematches with Khan and beats him, then Judah gets a shot and beats Peterson? Or Matthysse beats Danny and Khan then lose to Zab again? Zab would have as much claim as being the best as any of them. My point is, no one is head and shoulders above the rest as far as the top 4 are concerned, and Zab is just a notch below them.

and that is why the 140lb division is so convoluted. you guys are overrating the talent level at the top of the division simply because there is a lot of parity at the top. its not the same thing.

The Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer (BDB) has officially suspended middleweight contender Sam Soliman for nine months. In addition to that, the result of Soliman’s IBF elimination bout against Felix Sturm on February 1st, 2013, was changed into a “no contest”. Soliman has been found guilty of violating the BDB anti-doping rules when the illegal stimulant methylsynephrine was found in his A sample.

According to the BDB, Soliman was notified of the finding but refused to have the B sample opened at the same laboratory which checked the A sample. Therefore, the result of the A sample was confirmed leading to the judgement and suspension. Now it is up to the IBF to decide what happens with the elimination process in the middleweight division.

35 year old Zab is faster than Danny. 25 year old Zab is MUCH faster than the 35 year old version....with much better reflexes and elusiveness. Put aside your P.R. blinders for a minute and look at things realistically.

Zab was focused in this fight yes, but it was also his opponent. A greater offensive opponent still wouldve stopped Zab. There were reasons why Danny didnt stop him and make him quit...because he isnt good enough yet. Zab got hit with some shots but for the most part, he could see a lot of the shots coming and didnt get hit nearly with enough to make him think about quitting.

Danny not that fast like Khan. Khan was pasting Zab. Plus
Zab couldnt really get too him. Danny is more balanced than Khan but not as dynamic. As I said, if Khan doesnt get chin checked he beats Danny more times than not.
