dont make me pull u nikkas posts....:udontknow:damn near everyone of yall picked Danny by KO or TKO....and the only real basis you had to go by was the Khan fight....and Khan didnt do Zab like Cotto did. Cotto beat Zab down in a war. Khan basically outboxed Zab...even though Zab quit on a bodyshot he chose not to continue because he couldnt lay hands on Khan. Danny doesnt fight the same style as Khan nor has the reach...and if Mathysse couldnt get rid of Zab why da fuq was u nikkas so sure Danny could?

you stanning a lil too much now. I think you are really upset that Danny didnt KO Judah like you thought. I always said Zab was gonna be a tough fight for him...but you nikkas just think he gonna get stopped by this kid. NO. It dont work like that. Cotto stopped Zab, forgot about that...but Garcia is no Cotto.

I enjoyed last nights fight shyt was great TV why tf would I be mad?? If anything this fight proved Garcia's toughness N chin....ability to adapt when the opponent takes away your #1 weapon.... the fight was 8-4 or 7-5 wit a KD.... Just watched Khan/Diaz, Judah/Garcia, and Murray/Martinez back to back.

All dope fights in one night, boxing been holding it down lately with the marquee fights.

Thought Diaz should have gotten the nod over Con but it wasn't gonna happen when it was that close. Garcia looked good against Zab but he needs to close things out if he wants to get that next level.

I think Martinez was just messed up by the rain and his knee. But Murray came to fight and probably could have won but I had the same score the judges did 115-112.

LOL @ this "prime Zab" nonsense. Dude's been a legendary choker throughout his entire career. All the way back to when he was an amateur and lost to David Diaz of all people (twice!) causing him to miss the Olympic team. Pretty much all the big names on his resume are losses. Matthyse is probably the best win of his career and that only came a few years ago when he was supposedly already over the hill. Zab fought one of the better fights of his career against Danny. If he was a bit younger, only difference I could see is he maybe would've pushed a bit harder for a KO and just got KO'd himself instead.

The World Boxing Council's mandatory challenger to the middleweight crown, Marco Antonio Rubio (57-6-1, 49KOs), is confident he can knock champion Sergio Martinez out.

Rubio, by way of a court order, was made the mandatory challenger to Martinez's title. On Saturday he watched Martinez struggle in his decision victory over British contender Martin Murray. Rubio does not expect Martinez to last distance with him.

Even though Martinez suffered several injuries in Saturday's win, and likely won't fight until 2014, Rubio plans to start some early training for the Martinez battle.

It is very likely that Rubio's team will petition to have Martinez become the "champion in recess" if the boxer is unable to defend the title until 2014. If the WBC approves such a request, as they did in the case of Andre Ward being stripped a few weeks ago due to injury, Rubio would fight the next highest ranked contender for the vacant title, and Martinez would receive an immediate shot at the winner.

"I'm not saying Martinez will have another bad night when we get in the ring, but I am saying that I'm at my best and I feel ready and I'm going to snatch that title and bring it back to Mexico for all of my people who supported me," Rubio said.

"I'm going to California again to begin preparing for the fight with Martinez. I only hope that our promoters agree on a date. I'm taking my partner and friend Jose "Piston" Lopez, who helps me a lot with sparring, and soon we will know the date of when I'm bringing the championship back to Mexico."

The next highest contender according to the WBC rankings is.......Domenico Spada




For the sake of his own legacy and boxing fans' sanity, Mr. Martinez, please just give up that piece of shyt belt and fight two more big fights and call it a career

Martinez deserved to lose Saturday anyway so I aint mad one bit, it like Serg is busy fighting the best to excuse that weak ass performance, let the title go to someone who will defend it vs the other top fighters
