i do call lucas elite..its his career best winSpence wins = Danny hasn't beaten an elite opponent since 2013. And thats if you choose to call Mattyssee elite
i always thought - and still do - that the way to beat spence is to box him. if danny garcia can box a little like how he boxed against matthysse i think he can pull that type of fight off and win it. im with you on the thinking that spence also needs to box. and if he does, he should pull out a relatively clean decision. if he doesnt, then hes rolling the dice, and i dont think you roll the dice with danny garcia.I believe it to Spence that he will be more or less alright. He doesn't have to take stupid risk and brawl with Swift but box him like he did Mikey and he'll be good. Garcia is dangerous in exchanges but hasn't got the dynamism and pace of Porter to close the distance.
Froch stops Jacobs imoI can't stand that fukker but he was the second best fighter of a 168 era that was easily better-deeper than this one. Lost only to a one armed Ward... but I think that same Ward would breeze through this 168 as well.
Froch was a tough, awkward b*stard, Callum Smith couldn't do shyt with Ryder pressuring him last time, a prime Froch takes him out.
BJS is too inconsistent to me to pick him, he hasn't showed anything at 168 yet, he always has the potential though so I don't write him off either.
Plant looks the goods but at this point I'd still pick a prime Froch over him I need to see more from Plant, Froch was no Uzcategui. Finally I think Frochwould outtough and outfight a probably still somewhat green Benavidez.
Jacobs is probably the guy who could outbox Froch but not wilt under the pressure and the pace. I see a good chance for Jacobs but he looked pretty bad against Chavez so there's that.... 50-50.
Canelo is the only fighter I'd clearly pick to beat Froch at 168 now because I think Froch would be ripe for Canelo's super combos but I didn't count Canelo as a 168er now.
It really is sad. Brooke was a threat to all welterweights. Soundly battered Porter, gave Spence a good fight to he was physically brokenJust ran back Spence/Brook. High level fight, great performance and adjustments made by Spence. Wish Brook never went up to face Triple G.. would have liked to see him in the mix at 147. Probably still EJ’s best performance to date.
Floyd serious about being a trainer
Davis ain’t taking his craft serious Floyd ain’t on the dumb shytWondering how does it sit with Davis that Floyd out there openly embracing one of his rivals
Anyway Mayweather - Haney sounds like a good combo stylistically, I'm still not sure if Floyd can put aside his ego to become a successful trainer but I hope he will cause he's one of the last of his kind and it would be a pity if that knowledge would be lost. Same way I'd like if Tyson would teach some fighters out there how to do the real peek-a-boo style
Agree, that's why I've been saying Davis is a train wreck waiting to happenDavis ain’t taking his craft serious Floyd ain’t on the dumb shyt
Straight up going to be a bust if this continuesDavis ain’t taking his craft serious Floyd ain’t on the dumb shyt
I think Mayweather jr. would be a better trainer than a promoter
Tank would be that on paper as he is naturally gifted but he's a fukk up tooHis only issue as a promoter is that he starts bringing up his accomplishments.
Aside from that, Mayweather Promotions does well getting guys with limited talent opportunities. They just gotta make that leap and get top tier talent.
