They a clear tier below Spence, Bud, Manny. They will be the first dudes ushered out when the next generation of welters emerge (Ennis, Russell, Ortiz)
but Swift and Porter are both Former Champs and Top 6 fighters in the division
No fighter has had the goal post moved on his career as many times as Thurman.
If Swift and Porter are some scrubs, why hasn't anybody at 147 beaten both yet besides Thurman.
Especially since its so easy to do.

Don't try to create a strawman by characterizing them as "scrubs"
They cool guys, props to them for scooping vacant titles and all but nobody expect them to hold any meaningful belts anytime soon
They are who we think they are but now Thurman may need to be pushed down there on their level. That ain't goal posts, when it's based off his performances

My nikka you did that first by making a big deal about Thurman going life and death with them like that's some bad thing (he aint go life and death with Swift, stop it)
then you say Bud, Spence, and Pac are a level above them when Spence just went life and death with Porter and Pac just went life and death with Thurman.

with how slow the division moves, this can take another 2 to 3 years.
