This past year I’ve viewed Andrade as basically the 160 version of Bud.. Other than notoriety, the only difference is at least at DAZN there’s some true fights that can be made in Boo Boo’s division.

Sometimes polarizing fans and promoters, though, Rafael was never far away from controversy at times. A long-running feud with Top Rank intensified when ESPN joined forces with Bob Arum’s company in conjunction with Disney.
It wasn’t confirmed when ESPN responded to WBN for comment on Monday. “You are correct (Dan Rafael has left ESPN). His contract expired,” ESPN exclusively told World Boxing News. “Dan Rafael has been an important part of our boxing coverage for almost two decades. “We thank him for the many contributions he made to the coverage of the sport during that time. We wish him success in his next chapter,” they added.

Anyone here listen to FiyaStarter podcast?
They had a boxing insider on there recently (dude close to Teo Lopez and other camps) who basically broke down why PBC guys are ducking TC.
He argued that the next generation coming up is going to force someone to have to fight TC soon. Ennis, Gary A Russell and Virgil Lopez are all going be pushing to get welterweight contender level fights in the next couple years and will be pushing the Porter/Garcia/Thurman level dudes to either shyt or get off the pot.
He also had an interesting take on Efe Ajaba getting fed to the wolves soon cause his development is slow and a new crop of Olympians who will need promoter resources will emerge before Ajaba is ready to step up.
