have you ever watched his wsb amateur fights?

I’ve seen the Beterbiev fight, seems a turning point fight for his self belief.

A lot of fighters would have gone into their shell with a few of those right hands early, he stuck to the plan and it was the making of him.

Manny was special and its evident til this day, I didnt feel like he did roids; he was just scared of Floyd; fought like a bytch there too:hubie:

Fukk JMM til this day:camby:

Definitely fuk JMM lol. I never liked him & thought Manny was robbed with that horrible draw the first fight

Manny definitely is special but I would be a fool not to suspect he's been roiding since the El Terrible rematch

i think i like usyk by decision over all the heavyweights. no thats half true. i like usyk by decision or the other guy by knockout. you ought to go back and watch those wsb amateur fights. you get to see usyk fighting heavyweights.

i have this theory that the trend in the heavyweight division has been to get bigger and stronger. that there has been a race to the top to try lift all the weights and take all the vitamins to get the most size advantage you can have. so they got bigger and stronger. and they also got stiffer and slower. the other part of that theory is that they also got less skilled. you could say that, in large part, that long reign that wladimir klitschko had over the heavyweight division all those years had a lot to do with modern heavyweights becoming so big and so slow, that none of them could get past a jab anymore, or get out of the way of a right hand anymore. and that a heavyweight that can pick off slow moving targets with one big right hand - like klitschko, like wilder - will always become the heavyweight that will dominate the modern heavyweight environment. i digress.

thats why im interested in michael hunter and usyk at heavyweight. they represent a return to small, quick heavyweights who have to win with their skill. that does still matter. skill that is. then again thats only a theory. funny thing about usyk in the wsb tournament is, he had the toughest fight with the smallest heavyweight he faced in the tournament, and he clowned the biggest heavyweight he faced in the tournament. if the dinosaurs went extinct because they got too big, then maybe the same thing will happen one day to these heavyweights. but thats only a theory.

joyce was a lot more leaner in those days...usyk put a whooping on him

but i dig this theory you have about the heavies..i mean well into the 00s we still had cats like byrd and ibragimov even haye who were smallish and quick holding the belts and werent giant heavyweights...they all eventually had their belts took by a giant heavy - wlad

after dominating the heavyweight division for 10 years, klitschko's best win is probably david haye - a cruiserweight moving up. how good was david haye? i say that to say that i'm not sure how great that era was. the theory goes that; the heavyweights got so big in the modern era, that its actually a detriment. the expirment is; watching guys like usyk and hunter try to exploit that.

I've told this story a million times my brother who was a long time Manny hater and used to chit chat with Steve Kim and such from maxboxing, he said after Manny whooped Barrera ass there is whispers on Manny's drug test and don't be surprised when the fight is ruled a no contest, til this day I wonder if that bytch nikka actually heard something or was just hating...

Back then his only proof, is nobody is throwing 1000 punches bouncing around like nothing, eating guys best shots throwing his hands up, same shyt Floyd was on pretty much when it came to manny
