They better be dealing with it properly or they should be sued. They should allow the next Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder fight to happen, then after that they should make the winner of that vs Whyte. Then Fury and Wilder can have their rematch after, if either of them beat Dillian for all the belts, if they lose the winner can fight him for the belt. Easy fix if they just do shyt fairly.

joyce was a lot more leaner in those days...usyk put a whooping on him

but i dig this theory you have about the heavies..i mean well into the 00s we still had cats like byrd and ibragimov even haye who were smallish and quick holding the belts and werent giant heavyweights...they all eventually had their belts took by a giant heavy - wlad

only because of steward style. if wlad fights like the wlad that fought vs ross,corrie...etc would he really be that long reigning?
Same with lennox Lewis.

Lets not just act like these big guys reign without a specific skillset from, the great Emmanuel Steward.

i think i like usyk by decision over all the heavyweights. no thats half true. i like usyk by decision or the other guy by knockout. you ought to go back and watch those wsb amateur fights. you get to see usyk fighting heavyweights.

i have this theory that the trend in the heavyweight division has been to get bigger and stronger. that there has been a race to the top to try lift all the weights and take all the vitamins to get the most size advantage you can have. so they got bigger and stronger. and they also got stiffer and slower. the other part of that theory is that they also got less skilled. you could say that, in large part, that long reign that wladimir klitschko had over the heavyweight division all those years had a lot to do with modern heavyweights becoming so big and so slow, that none of them could get past a jab anymore, or get out of the way of a right hand anymore. and that a heavyweight that can pick off slow moving targets with one big right hand - like klitschko, like wilder - will always become the heavyweight that will dominate the modern heavyweight environment. i digress.

thats why im interested in michael hunter and usyk at heavyweight. they represent a return to small, quick heavyweights who have to win with their skill. that does still matter. skill that is. then again thats only a theory. funny thing about usyk in the wsb tournament is, he had the toughest fight with the smallest heavyweight he faced in the tournament, and he clowned the biggest heavyweight he faced in the tournament. if the dinosaurs went extinct I 5 because they got too big, then maybe theak same thing will happen one day to áwt waswqhese was. but thats only a theory.

This my thing as well. last heavyweight unification since ibragimov and wlad was Lennox Lewis vs holyfield. Imo ibragimov probably would have beaten the rest of the HW. In that era except the Klitschko and valuev no champ exceeded 6'4 . Haye maskae Rahman Sam Peter povetkin sultan chagaev John Ruiz Brewster stirvine roy jones (think only Sanders and Briggs were 6'4).
Even then when you look at em the Klitschko Bros BMI was better compared to most of em.
Idk

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Hearns continues Duck season into 2020...smh
yep

We spend too much energy and time on Deontay Wilder who in the whole grand scheme of things has just boxed in America at Las Vegas and sold 7,000 f****** tickets and done about 100,000 buys on pay per view.

'No one gives a monkey about Deontay Wilder, I'm sorry but it's true.'

This is AJ master and promoter, Eddie Hearn speaking.. Does this sound like someone thats trying to make fight with Wilder disrepecting Wilder and telling lies.. Wilder should be enthusiastic about doing business with someone like this???

Joshua reclaimed the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world heavyweight titles with a victory in his rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr on Saturday evening.

The 30-year-old insisted after his win in Saudi Arabia that he is open to a unification fight with Deontay Wilder.

But Joshua is set to be tied to two mandatory defences with Pulev and Usyk in the frame.

And Hearn claims that Pulev, who is the IBF mandatory challenger, will be the first one to face Joshua before a bout against Usyk later in 2020.
AJ is tied up until well into 2021.. but somehow Wilder is freezing him out :mjlol:

Of course they're gonna duck.. Its been in the plan
"Yea if its this year, or next year, or the year after.. Its when im in position to win

Then you have clowns like @The Ruler 09 that will bring up Wilder turning down a DAZN offer.. An offer where DAZN's own president claims DAZN fukked up.

DAZN Exec Chairman John Skipper admits to “Messing Up” $100m Deontay Wilder deal! ⋆ Boxing News 24
“In retrospect, I was too brash going in there without creating the relationships I needed to create with the people who advised Deontay Wilder. I have now worked to do that. It has to do with going back to the education I needed before getting into boxing … When we left that (Wilder) meeting, I KNEW WE MESSED UP and that we weren’t going to be successful (Wilder)

I know but that's why I give wlad a whole lot of credit for what he did with steward in his corner. Ppl can front all they like on him but he was dominant in every sense of the word..really only Floyd could be put above him..maybe pac too in that era.

Beaches and Palm Trees
The fight would be ppv on Fox
Yeah 30-0 and a solid following . Some HighLight KOs. I can see PBC trying to headline Big Charlo on PPV against a credible MIddleweight in 2020.

You could see them Posturing a Hurd/Jermell Unification Bout on PPV but J Rock and Tony Harrison put that to rest.

WBC have announced now they’ve lifted the Whyte suspension since he’s been cleared , but are still saying February 2021 for the shot. He’s already waited years so they may appeal that, but that’s when he should get his shot by unless something else happens again to stop it.

I think people got the game tucked up with Lennox he was a beast and ended careers before Steward see Razor Ruddock, he would have been a problem for anybody before, just became even better after.
