shyt, you gotta have a decent product to promote first. ESPN been underwhelming as fukk this year.

They should have never put Bud on this weekend's card. nikkas ain't bothering to promote it since he fighting a jobber. If Lopez/Commey was the official main event, I feel like they would be promoting it a lil more since that fight has been talked about all fukking year. Now its like whatever, now that its actually happening. :snoop:

indeed...it shouldnt be the main undercard fights have more intrigue and backstory than the main event

ESPN overall this year disappointed me..i dont know where they went wrong form 2018

AJ got the nerve to be on Snapchat talking about people wrote him off. :hhh: Like he didn’t play a big part in that by getting his ass whooped by a late replacement in the first place:snoop:...then he still came out in the rematch as the overwhelmingly favorite (except for the coli of course:mjpls:)

A lot of so called boxing experts completely wrote him off like it was completely impossible for him to beat Ruiz and he was gonna have to retire after the 2nd fight.

This was well publicised a few months back:

If Davis would have made 5m then Farmer would have made at least 3ms too which would be 37% of the split. Even if Farmer only gets 35% he gets more. Realistic should be 35-40 cause Tank is the bigger name but Farmer is more than a run off the mill mandatory challenger who gets 30% too, they talked so much shyt, the anticipation for this would be bigger than a usual Tank fight, Farmer too even though not a star fighter is a more well known name than most if not all of Davis' opponents so far.
So I base on those numbers that the offer must have been higher.

Do I think Farmer should be feeilng himself so much to say a 2m offer is low balling to him? Hell no. I didn't say Farmer would be perfect or anything just that at he same time Davis, or in the other situation Charlo aren't entitled to have their "opponents" bend their way, cut out the bullshyt about where you never gonna fight, where the other fighter has to come to fight you just follow the most lucrative offer god damn it.

"Why is it always outta your fingers that PBC must cross the street N it’s never the other way around?"

Because in the recent situations I saw it looks like it would have been both easier and more lucrative for the PBC fighter to cross street than the other way around. Also because they are the ones claiming they are free agents and their own bosses who are not tied down. We are not stupid, we know they are valuable assets of FOX (or Showtime although it looks like they are on their way out), we know it's not that simple so why don't just say you can't cross over if you can't? And if you can why prohibit yourself from doing so and demanding the other to come to you?

In case they can work together like ESPN and PBC with co-PPVs I don't call for them to cross street. For example if Bud vs Spence would have to happen somewhere I think it's reasonable for Arum to let Crawford fight on FOX rather than Spence on ESPN. They will most likely do a co-PPV though if it happens so they both get a slice. Now PBC and DAZN can't do that they have no avenue to work together. Still they have to solve it somehow if we want to see fights between the best of DAZN and PBC right? So the only logical way to decide is that the one who offers a more lucrative deal gets to host it imo.

No where does that say PBC couldn’t match or exceed $5 ms for that fight for tank... in which case it makes ZERO sense for Tank to fight on another network which will get less viewership

No where does that say Dazn will be giving Tevin Farmer more than 2 ms for that fight ... you did a whole lot of assumptions talking about a split like Farmer is a draw

At the end of the day it’s all about $$$$ if these PBC nikkas was really losing out on money they would be accepting the Dazn offers ... they not accepting the Dazn offers so that means either PBC is paying them the same or more OR them Dazn offers look funny in the light

i mentioned this before...the 80s heavyweights get bad rap because the majority fell victim to various vices..but they were just as talented as 60-70s heavies...ali and the notable heavies in that era were all but cleared out or non factors by them by the early to mid 80s

I watched the 2nd Bowe vs Golota fight and how the fukk did Bowe not DIE from that beating??? :dahell: :gucci: :mindblown:.

That mafukka was getting the SNOT beaten out of him

Real talk..Bowe showed me more in that fight than in any other fight of his

Bowe lost like 50 pounds in 8 weeks, looked in better condition than 1st fight
The years of yoyo dieting, hard fights, and bad habits on top of the beating he absorbed in the first golota fight all came to ahead
Takes a beating very few top heavyweights take or are supposed to take but didn't just roll over and die
Still managed to put Golota on his ass and even hurt him badly near the end of the fight before the 3 punch polish specials ended things
Slurs his speech badly in the post fight interview and is finished

easily a top 5 HW fight of the 90s...we were so spoiled by 90s HW boxing :wow:

man...ill say this about bantams..they don't lack for interesting matchups on paper

not sure how i feel about this fight..oubaali is a pretty damned good fighter...donaire is coming off the IMO the 2nd best fight of this calendar year and took a wild amount of punishment for it..donaire prolly should retire...but donaire is one of the few..shyt prolly the only fighter that really throws himself into the fire in the divisions he operates in

Yeah I think he should retire at this point. That fight was high level & at 36 (damn near 37) he pushed Monster to the brink & almost won years out of his prime. He has nothing left to prove. And don't be surprised if Monster isn't the same after that scrap either. I just watched it again last night & those exchanges were brutal :picard:

Inoue's a tough b*stard but taking those kinds of bombs from Nonito for 12 rounds took a few years off him

You right, shyt was looking funny then, but you know nikkas be hoping and shyt. :mjcry:

nikka prolly got offered like 750k or 1 mil for the Jojo fight and he still in disbelief. :mjlol:

I don't know what he expected. It's not a unification and Jojo isn't Ryan Garcia or Tank status as far as drawing goes.

yup c00ney cleaned up ron lyle and jimmy young too

ali got badly beaten by holmes and trevor berbick

frazier got knocked around and nearly ko'ed by a journeyman

shavers became someone an up and comer or prospect needed to pad a record

chances are foreman may have had the same fate if he didnt retire like he did

im a day late but

7th year anniversary of the best knockout of the decade and a top 15 day in world history:blessed:

and yet 7 years later...marquez retired because of "injuries" :mjpls: and manny is arguably a top 2 welterweight and a legit champ at 40-41

manny is the only true great active in boxing today
