If I remember correctly, in the pilot he had people breaking into buildings to get information.
I suspect that they originally planned to make him more blatantly corrupt, then they softened him up after the pilot.

I didnt see that...

Best episode of the season IMO. The dialogue was great on all sides.

damien lewis is a weird looking dude, especially when he gets mad or excited. it's like his whole face squints. plus he raises his eyebrows pretty much every time he speaks...lol.

the first few shows were fairly disappointing (i had high expectations) but it really improved as the season went on. i'm glad i stuck with it.
