fukk I just saw this last night. That fukking bag scene was more disturbing than the box cutter scene IMO. I legit turned away a couple times. That was really intense. I would rather they have held him down. The zip ties made that shyt so much more clinical and gruesome for some reason.

:merchant:

I see where you’re coming from but that box cutter scene...:wow: Just pure savage! When he did that Sh!t. He didn’t even blink. No emotion or nothing. That is what made it so intimidating to everyone in that room

Victor didn’t deserve that sh!t, that was cold blooded
Gus was more Lydia than people realize. You eliminate loose ends. Walt learned that from watching Gus. He saw how calmly Gus killed a long time employee. He at the moment realized how he had to deal with Gus.

I guess for me another factor is the box cutter scene was foreshadowed in the opening of the ep and they had that warning coming back from commercial break about graphic content so I kind of expected it. The scene this week on BCS was out of nowhere and it happened just when the previous tension over the 6 bricks was released. So it really caught me off guard and it just went on and on. With the box cutter I feel like it was over faster.

Both are fukked up and I don't want to watch either scene again.

What about pinkman then? He should of killed him immediately after gus. Pinkman has been a loose cannon for a while and he ignored the signs which lead to his downfall. I really don’t understand the dynamic with them both, Walt already had a son. Pinkman was a burden at the end of the day

you're severely under-valuing Jesse's contribution to the team by saying this.

Jesse put Walt onto so much game throughout the course of the show. He was a drug addict, and at the very end a snitch, no doubt. but to say he should have killed him right after Gus in incorrect IMO. at some point, Walt straight up punks Jesse out of millions of dollars for the train heist, and Jesse is basically like fukk it.

my point is, Jesse was an important part of the team. Gus was a threat that had plans on taking out Walt. to compare the two as opposition to Walt is wrong.

U sure? Isn’t jimmy near 50 as well?

Bob Odenkirk is 55.

Rhea Seehorn doesn't look anywhere near 50. She's 46 or 47. I thought she was in her early 30's.
And when she was 30 she looked 18. :gucci:

No Whammies!!
also, i feel like mike thinks if he can infiltrate that easily, so can almost anyone else.

if he's going to be doing business with them of any kind, he wants to make sure their shyt is tight.

as we see in BB later on down the line, the way they have Pollos set up with running the meth, you do not want ANY parts of that operation to be sloppy.

i'm actually kind of surprised at lydia's reaction. i would think that she would listen to what mike has to say and and take his advice.

Didn't think of it that way. It's not just his cover identity, he legitimately helped them to be a better front organization.

Yes he did.
Rule number 1 he caught acting suspicious at a murder scene.
Rule number 2. He thought he could cook Walt’s formula for meth by memory. Remember he tried cooking up 20 pounds of it while Walt mocked him. Now here is where people under estimated Walt’s genius for catching up and evening the sides. Walt used his position to as an expert cook to not only save his life but Jesse also by letting Victor kill him self. He spoke to Gus while undermining Vic’s position, planting seeds in his mind it was Vic who was at fault by ruining a batch of meth combined with losing Gale that saved their lives. Gus killed Victor out of frustration.

Yep but I also think he hates it. I think he hates people that fall for the scam shyt because he doesn't want that life for himself and he doesn't want it to be so easy for him and for it to work as well as it does. If people could smell the bullshyt then it would be easier for him to walk the straight and narrow and not resort to being Saul/Slippin' Jimmy. But for sure he gets off on it and it's who he naturally sort of just is.

Great observation....That whole bit just clicked for me....

It's probably the first time in the series where Jimmy has some reluctance and didn't enjoy running down the scam.

The only contribution Jesse made was getting the rv and hooking up Walt with Saul which lead to fring. He almost got both of them killed after the fiasco with the street dealers. He fuked up the intro meeting with fring, his junkie gf was blackmailing Walt etc

Let’s not forget he was a failure at selling the blue on the streets. Jessie was a burden, nothing more

we know all of his fault, but he wasn't a failure on the streets like that.

when they were doing the dead drops, that shyt was popping and clicking. it didnt go all the way bad till combo got shot.

was also jesse's idea to use the magnets to break the computer, and was also jesse's idea to put water into the tanker when they robbed the train
