I am glad that scene ended that way, a touch of slightly fantastical realism, what would really happen if you showed up pulling a gun, way outside of your comfort zone. Too many shows depict those kinds of scenes in a glorified way.

fukk I just saw this last night. That fukking bag scene was more disturbing than the box cutter scene IMO. I legit turned away a couple times. That was really intense. I would rather they have held him down. The zip ties made that shyt so much more clinical and gruesome for some reason.

Jimmy can't standing living like a square. Him conning people is what gets his dikk hard.
Yep but I also think he hates it. I think he hates people that fall for the scam shyt because he doesn't want that life for himself and he doesn't want it to be so easy for him and for it to work as well as it does. If people could smell the bullshyt then it would be easier for him to walk the straight and narrow and not resort to being Saul/Slippin' Jimmy. But for sure he gets off on it and it's who he naturally sort of just is.

I think you missed the whole point. If Mike is willing to go on his own time to these warehouses for nothing imagine him with a purpose. Gus grooming him to be the frontline crash test dummy.
It’s very clear who runs the operation now.
Gus gives the orders to his number 2 Lydia making Mike feel important enough to feel apart of the team then he later becomes his number one goon.
I didn't think about it that way but that makes sense too. I also think on some level Gus respects that Mike sees the bigger picture and even though he could just sit back and collect a check, he wants to make the paper trail more legit, and probably deep down enjoys that type of work. So yeah he's willing to go do these things on his own time and would be a good #1 goon for the team, but I think Gus also respects that he's got intelligence and can also be more than just being a hired gun for muscle.

also, i feel like mike thinks if he can infiltrate that easily, so can almost anyone else.

if he's going to be doing business with them of any kind, he wants to make sure their shyt is tight.

as we see in BB later on down the line, the way they have Pollos set up with running the meth, you do not want ANY parts of that operation to be sloppy.

i'm actually kind of surprised at lydia's reaction. i would think that she would listen to what mike has to say and and take his advice.
