When Jesse was going to have her deliver the burgers to the drug dealers, he told her how they used kids and she said she understood since she had a son.
Don’t remember but doesn’t Wendy know Saul? I hope to see her this season less meth’d out

Because the writers are stupid, a real kingpin drug dealer would of killed Walt after he killed their street dealers
Let’s think about that for a second. Gus is the boss, his dealers are Subordinates , Walt is the chemist and most important part of his drug business. He makes the 200 pounds of meth needed to supply multiple states and you think Gus would kill him over guys at most bringing in 20K a week or a guy who is making him millions a week. Gus is a pragmatist, those guys were replaced the next day. Walt at that point was not replaceable.

Not when you got pinkman around, remember eventually gus kidnapped him and that was the right choice.

By letting Walt get away with that he got bold and eventually killed him

Hector would of killed Walt in the same situation

No. Gus didn’t trust junkies.
Bold? Gus threaten his family. He had to go to war. Bold is Jesse trying to sell meth on the side when he getting 1.5 million a month. Bold is Jesse thinking he getting over by skimming.
Hector was a dummy. His time was over. Also it’s business. Millions or thousands per week over 2 guys who weren’t family.

And how did that work out? Gus had Walt on his knees in the middle of nowhere

He should of popped him right there

Nobody could do what Walt could do. In real life sure some retard would have killed Walt, but on the show Gus searched around for someone to fill Walt's shoes and it took him a while and then when he did find that person who could do it, that person was killed.

If you kill Walt, you can still sell meth and make a profit but you can't sell it for as much as they were selling Walt's blue shyt

This.

shyt man....by the time Walt killed those goons the lab probably hadn't even generated a profit yet. It cost $8 mill to build.

Found another BB book for a buck. :ehh:

This looks like fun. It’s a picture book heavy with a few paragraphs thrown in for each section. Keeps it in character.

That's how i see it.. in the show's universe, it was the idea that Walt's product was so much more superior to competitors, that Gus needed Walt. Gale would have broken his dependency on Walt, but Walt and Jesse handled that. The other weakness Gus has is his obsession with making Hector suffer. It's what brought him to the old folks home.. and In "Better Call Saul", they do a good job of playing up that dynamic. Gus has had plenty of chances to end Hector, but he wants to make him suffer.

Also tonight's episode was written by Gordon Smith, who is probably the best writer on the show besides Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. He wrote the Mike episode in season 1 ("Five-O"), the Mike/Tuco fight episode from season 2 ("Gloves Off"), and the Chuck vs Saul courtroom episode ("Chicanery") in season 3. He's a beast.
