The Official "Better Call Saul" Season 1 Thread

Tomorrow the Television Critics Association with have a "Better Call Saul" panel, so expect new info. Also here's a new interview with Bob Odenkirk....I'll post a few key points:

1. The series "jumps around in time....I mean REALLY jumps around in time". Maybe we'll see a few scenes after "Breaking Bad"?

2. The series is 75% drama, 25% comedy. Same as "Breaking Bad" more or less.

3. Walt and Jesse do not pop up in season 1....but he said "there are other people in season 1 that will surprise you". Gus? Tio? Skank? SKANK!

4. If you've never seen "BB" you'll be able to follow the show but there will be a few easter eggs for fans.

I'm assuming him being thrown on his side is suppose to be connection to Gus and Walt being thrown down on their sides.

Jimmy's boss and mentor . Suppositily there are Easter eggs in this pic. Also that scene of Saul/ Jimmy holding up his paycheck has a very familiar address that played a huge role in season 3. The show is going to be pure crack. Mods how can I change my screen name to Black Francis or Francis Black.

I'm surprised at how many people I'm seeing say that this show will probably be bad or that they won't be watching on other forums
Don't this people have any faith in Vince Gilligan?
It also doesn't help that some of them have to keep trying to compare it to Breaking Bad.

First reviews are rolling in....and they're great.

Some slight spoilers, I will tag a potentially big spoiler which is mentioned a couple times. If you want to remain 100% spoiler free avoid the reviews. Also the Esquire review claims the show is better than "Breaking Bad", which is

The reviews said they (wisely) use Mike very little in the first 2 eps. But by episode 3 he's in the mix full time.

I gotta admit I was about the prequel but if we get to see Mike gooning in his prime....or see episodes about things he mentioned, like the story in his "no half measures" speech, I'm ready.

Not gonna lie.I had no interest in "Pre breaking bad" story telling. I just dont think Saul and Mike are interesting enough to carry on a whole show (i would of loved the prequel to of been about Gus grind to the top)


But these reviews are too strong to ignore. I'll be tuned in!
