Let's ask Ty Law how he feels about exclusive contracts :sas2:

nikka waited on the shelves for 2+ years to be rewarded with a battle no1 gives a shyt about.

Make up and comers sign exclusive contracts (for pg battles/ one offs) but let vets go around everywhere fukking up their names and then book them for SM/NOME brehs.

:scust: nikkas talking about quality control when Charlie Clips freestyles 2 rounds as the main event on SM.

Tdot.. till the death of me
I'm listening right now

Your right

I do believe your nitpicking here though.

We both know if someone like Pat Stay battled on the URL, it would not be a pg.

I believe he's speaking from the perspective of someone that views Bdot as a guy on the come up. Dizaster is a top tier guy man. Charron is a top kotd/canadian guy. Reed is Reed. You know all of this.

All I wanted to know was if they had to go through PG's as well. So i guess the answer is no. I was high and couldn't remember

Beasley should just keep it funky and tell us the real reason he doesn't want b.dot to battle saga

If that means I'm nitpicking then so be it :yeshrug:

No, that's one perspective; not a complete reality. You obviously said you can't talk business in here because there's too many fans. Ok, business then. If there's something in demand one business cannot provide, another business will try to accompany that. And that right there is what Hitman did. And I view it as a business to a degree, too. Same time, if URL can't provide that battle, they should've came up with some other shyt to top that which I figured they could do instead of the blocking shyt. Corny as it sounds, there is some culture to it as well and hell, some of us, fans would;ve appreciated it possibly. We can agree to disagree but you talk like you siding completely with the league. Would you be cool with this if other leagues did this as well? No matter how big or small the league is, would you be cool with it?
URL can provide all those battles on Hitman's card because everyone on his card is a URL talent. Hitman isn't providing anything that URL is unable to provide. If it was for the culture then it would be nothing for these nikkas to meet up on some street corner and spit their bars.

If they can provide all those battles, why didnt they book them once Hitman's event fell thru? At the very least, you have a few good battles good for another NOME card. And I've said it before, if you're going to block them, book them at least. I still think blocking the battles and not booking them is weak, imo.

Verb didn't even need to do a blog about it, Lux literally cites the Verb-Hitman battle as inspiration during his round.

Yup, Lux mentioned it during his round. But to be fair to Verb, people's memories are short. On top of that, Lux brought in a brand new audience with his 3rd vs Calicoe, I know people who watched Lux/Calicoe and went on to become casual fans that don't really know who Aye Verb is.

Pretty much.....people post his 3rd round to this day on fb....and I know 95% of these people prolly never watched battles before. It's damn near the must go to intro for puttin people on battle rap.

You have to remember the url was kind of done with him for accepting the Reign man battle and moved on. Ty Law is a guy that should pursue rbe/black ice type of leagues.

Are you against contracts?

We get better battles in general when guys are exclusive to a league. Do you disagree?

I actually really dont care about contracts or nah. But just explain me from who do we get better battles? It sure aint from the guys on the main stage? We get better battles from Saga/wavy/prep? Your argument is that contracts keep battle rappers from taking L's on other leagues and fukk up their names. Yet thats exactly what the Vets do. Verb been ass for as long as Ty was sitting on the shelve. Battling on every basement in the US. Yet he was offered a NOME spot. Ty law was sick of waiting for URL so he took a battle and they got upset about it and made him wait for 2 years?? That's double standards imo.

Can someone help me understand this

So Beasley sayin B.dot needs to do a PG first before battling saga. Then goes on to say that everyone on URL has to do a PG first. Ok cool.

Did charron do a PG? before he battled Suge?

Did disaster do a PG before he battled Rex?

Reed do a PG before John John?

I'm gone off that kush so I don't know if I'm legit forgetting those PG's or is Beasley just contradicting himself
EXACTLY

Shyt ain't adding up.

The majority of battle fans I talk too don't want to see B.Dot in PG.

I think they just trying to flex on BDot cause dude made a name for himself without going through them ( or any other big league)

And that pisses them off cause they are "Gatekeepers of the culture" .:rudy:

I don't really care if you think I'm siding with the league or not.

The fan in me doesn't want Hitman to have the battles, because they could turn out looking like the kingjuice battles for all i know. There where quite a few of us that where happy Hitman/Suge did not happen on Gorilla Warfare.

The contracts definitely don't bother me. There needs to be some type of quality control. It was exactly how yall nyggas wanted it just a few years back. Nyggas where free to battle anywhere. Nothing but terrible battles. So many dope battles on paper just turned out to be :trash:.

Guys going around being :trash: for a check.

I like when battle rappers are exclusive to a league. Look at the qp's. Best thing that ever happened to them was committing to black ice.

All the RBE guys take it seriously. The URL got more serious. SDH guys took it serious. WGH nyggas take it seriously. Whether you like the content or not.

Signing to an exclusive League is not gonna stop sub par battles from happening.

What its gonna do is ROB THE FANS from seeing the match ups they want to see.

You get better content from battle rap as a whole.

I'll elaborate tonight when I am at a computer unless someone beats me to it.

Or maybe not. Shyt is starting to get repetitive.

Contracts are for the newer talent. Not sure why your comparing rookies and vets like they can make the same moves.
