You got it backwards.
It's fair to say the majority of the pg's end up being midtier at best, agreed? I would say the pg's has produced maybe 2 or 3 top tier guys off the top of my head. Whether you like these guys or not, if these guys continue to stay committed to the URL, damn near every rookie from rookie vs vets might become top tier with the exception of Sno. That didnt happen in the past, despite there being more talented pg classes. Why? These guys would battle multiple places & it just ruined their stock.
As far as the vets, they got where they are today from battling on one league. They where exclusive to the url & where not battling 20 times a year. Guys like Clips/Verb got their name up to the point that people will pay to see them. That's why the URL books them. Clips could lose tomorrow in Nebraska against Jumper Cable and no one would care. You let Ave go in there right now & lose to Jumpercable & that shyt will just kill all his momentum.
I do believe if someone like Verb was on a contract, he could have been up there in status with Hollow. Instead, he's a nygga from STL that needs to get out the game with all those other STL nyggas.
That's talk about there real problem in battle. It isn't the contracts. It is St Louis, Missouri.
We got Aye Verb, Hitman Holla, Yung Ill, Bmagic, Remy D, Oops, & G Souldier.
G Souldier got destroyed by T-Rex. Rex ruined that nygga's career. He was never heard from again
Ooops just got 3-0'd by Mack Myron
Bmagic just got tbagged by T Money Bagz
Hitman Holla just got bodybagged by the URL
Aye Verb/Yung ill bout to get beat by Math & Cortez
STL stay taking losses
