I think Smack is lying about money being tight
maybe not his money, but its no secret the sponsorship shyt is dead with caffeine. couple that with gerald getting out (so he says, but he just sponsored battles on the trenches card, so whatever). exclusiv, al capone and harry not walking through that door. i think smack is past putting up his money to take losses that would affect him. who knows, but it feels like that caffeine payday was the next thing to them cashing out, so him, beasley and chico made sure they got a safety nest for days like this where the land seems baron.
