Eazy is cool, fire, beating the brakes off everything moving in battle rap, was on a hit tv show, etc...why would he want to keep himself confined to a space where only battle rap fans can see him? Of course he wants youtube drops and all that. Madd people don't know or care about battle rap at all but know Mook, Lux, Surf, Rex, Dizaster, Hitman and Clips (even before the show), etc... Eazy deserves that same look and attention. Open him up to the whole world, pause, not just the battle rap community. These other leagues that put the shyt on Youtube gotta pay him so what's really the upside of him staying at the URL? He's exhausted what they can do for him given their current operations.

For the app nikkas that dont understand why the youtube leverage is important. Here is one of the biggest current battlers explaining it for you

App views aint worth shyt to anyone but URL. shyt is bascially Bison bucks with Smack face on there. No other business outside of URL can use that for anything, which also caps a battler's asking price when negotiating with URL.

Eazy came up in the APP era and is a well known commodity within the community. You can’t turn around and argue that a lack of YouTube is hurting his branding or popularity.
Did he come up on the app(URL App) era or the caffeine era?Im a casual fan and only seen Ez on caffeine. Those are two different things and I would say EZ came up mor eon the caffeine streams than anything on the app. Idk what a smack is, but sound like some bs from the app
They’re the same thing. My point is he came up in the era where URL stopped posting battles on YouTube and you still learned about him and became a fan. Because the nikka is nice. You can argue that he’d be bigger if his battles were on YouTube but my counter argument is he wouldn’t be THAT much bigger.
Revisiting this convo. The video I posted above proves the lack of Youtube is hurting his brand/popularity.
Ez says he got popping because of Caffeine, not the app. He also mentioned only getting the Bel Air shyt because the dude saw his battle on caffeine.

Ez also had words for Ace and all the other pro app battlers. Basically Ace just running his mouth with no knowledge.

Ez says the issues with URL is about him asking for youtube drops. They had Caffeine cut his streaming deal so he gonna be on youtube more. The Ez/Veezy shyt gonna probably be on youtube now since Verb wanted to do it on youtube anyway.

Well now he has YouTube. Let’s see how drastically his already bright star rises. None of the nikkas with millions of views are really that popping outside of battle rap, unless it’s an assist from a fan of battle rap. EZ got a look off Caffeine, that everyone is writing off as dead. Everyone on Wild N Out is on there cause Nick Cannon loves the culture. The nikka with the most exposure outside of battle rap is probably DNA and it’s cause he hustles his ass off. It’s not like he’s a top view getter.

Well now he has YouTube. Let’s see how drastically his already bright star rises. 1. 1. That's because a lot of battle rappers didnt know how to leverage stuff outside of BR til recently. The ones who got an assist from a fan of battle rap was most likely because they saw the battle on youtube(exposure). Ez said he already getting a number of opportunities off the Hitman battle being on youtube. :manny:
2. Yea, if all caffeine stuff will be paid, it's dead.
3. Damn near all the rappers on WildNOut were big youtube battlers. That has nothing to do with loving the culture. If they werent popping in BR they wouldnt be on there.
4. DNA has several million view battles..........what are you talking about. Those views put him in position.

Who does URL prop up as the next "star"?
How do they do that without youtube/ free caffeine?
Maybe they not messed up about making a star since they have their own lil bubble with the app and they can count on the hardcore subs they already have.

I do find it funny that people are talking about “black owned businesses” now that URL are getting sharked but when URL exercise these same capitalistic business practices on RBE and other leagues, people find excuses for it.

Battle Rap isn’t a charity which means capitalism is going to take place. No one, not even URL, should be surprised when/if they get got because loopholes get taken advantage of all the time.

That’s one angle. The opposite angle is they made him. He built his career on their backs. :yeshrug:

This is essentially the same argument that UFC fighters have with the UFC.
