The Official Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Movie Thread

This was a technically bad movie, I mean really bad ... however, I liked it. The visuals and some of the lines in this movie :
- Lex "You're going to be on the hot seat in there"
- Batman (while he is giving Superman that work) "Your Parents told you that you were special, you know what my parents told told me while they died in a gutter for nothing, 'The world only makes sense if you make it' "

That being said, there was some truly awful shyt in the movie. 6.5/10 nonetheless.

I don't know how anyone can compare TDK action to what was seen in this movie. Best batman fight scenes I've ever seen

So, does Perry know Clark is Superman? He has to know, right? When Lois says she needs the helicopter for a personal reason he relents immediately and says put it on the roof. Did he know at that point? Or did he know when he turned to the page that said they lost a reporter in Clark Kent in the paper?

Yo when Superman totally sonned the shyt outta Batman had me dying! Superman stopped him in his tracks, ripped the batmobile's hood off and basically told him to beat it, kid. Play time's over.

The only character I didn't like was Lex Luther. Too eccentric/extra.

so movie just finished.

5/10. Was Ok. best parts were the action, the music, and the CGI.

The bad parts are basically what everybody else has said so far. Bad plot, tries too much to build for later, and not enough Batman or Superman.

To be fair...
We had a tragedy in this country where people didn't immediately leave the building. People in shock you don't know what they might do.

Edit: This sense of shock was captured in Avengers too. You didnt see people rushing out of buildings because of whats going on. Cause sometimes those WTF moments can leave you slow to react.

I think this movie has the best Batman hand to hand fighting and Batmobile sequences compared to all of the previous ones. It even had Batman doing his John Wick impression in the apocalypse scene

Pacing was freaking awful. It was not at action packed as MoS. It was not as fast as MoS. Freaking movie damn near put me to sleep.

Everyone and their momma knows how Batman became Batman and his motivation. Even the casual audience member knows because he is so old and popular. fukk we need to rehash his orgin story during the movie??

How the hell they knew Clark was dead right next to Superman? Why have two funerals?? Clark could still be missing for all they knew, but to have it simultaneously is a bit too much.

Did Batman had superstrength?? Did his armor increased his strength??

Amy Adams is so damn ugly. The actress who played Lana Lang (Jenny in the credits) should be Lois, damn the acting.

Movie became another freakin Batman movie. Seriously there's enough screentime for Batman. Not enough for Superman, but then again he;s as one-dimensional as he gets. If the villain isn't Braniac or another relic from Krypton, then there isn't another dimension for Superman. But thats for another rant altogether.

Superman's actor is so damn wooden. He was stiff and stoic throughout. Only made two faces throughout the movie.

Call me a purist, but Batman DOES NOT go around killing bad guys with grenades and bat-missiles and put marks on their chests so they could be killed later. This Batman was reckless, sloppy, and more suited for the Transformer audience then the Batman in the comics. Yes he has a chip on his shoulder, but there's a difference between Batman and those like the Punisher. It takes EVEN MORE SKILL to save a goon's life then putting him down permantly if he's trying to kill you. Batman should be a cut above the likes of the Punisher. Batflack seem to didnt have a care in the world who he shoots up, just as long as it looked "cool", then that's all it matter. But at the same time he goes out his way to save the Joker's genocidal ass, GTFOH!!!

Same here. The women loved her appearance. Why, IDK. Maybe shes the prototypical female archetype. ANd she's finally on the big-screen.
