That's why I always give Batman Begins props, as obscure Batman villains like Ra's Al Ghul, Falcone and Scarecrow got given a chance.

The only reason they did that was because they wanted to differentiate it from the last 2 series and all the major villains had been used.

Plus I thought Scarecrow's inclusion was a little shameless seeing as he served little to no story purpose. They just needed a reason to give Batman a cooky villain to fight.

If anything seeing as how one of the main themes of that movie is fear Scarecrow probably should have been the main villain.

Worship may have been a strong word, but yall acting like Goyer's the Godfather of comic book films just because he wrote Blade.

He also wrote Blade Trinity.

And Ghost Rider 2 :russ:
I'm not even saying he's great. But the way he gets demonized by certain people as if he's never done anything good is absurd.

Every writer or director has a few clunkers in their resume.

Superman franchise wont move forward until they change it up. X-MEN was heading the same way with the villains always either being Magneto or William Stryker. It was becoming stale. However they changed it up in X-MEN: First Class, by making Sebastian Shaw the main villain and Magneto anti-hero. It felt fresh as a result. Now we're about to get A-Poc as the main villain in 2016 and the likes of Mr Sinister down the line. Wolverine might even be a villain in it as well :whew:.

You've got villains like Parasite, Brainiac and Mongul, but still revolve around Zod and Luthor/Luthor types :snoop::shaq2:. Been there, done that :camby:.
Batman begins had by far the weakest villain(s) in the trilogy.

Why the fukk would they not choose GREAT iconic villains over lesser interesting villains.

And if they did you marvel stan clowns would be like :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: Dc are idiots who the fukk picks bizzaro over luthor these clowns are hopeless.

No matter what wb/dc does or sony/fox you stans are making forced bullshyt comments filled with smilies hating on it.

And why is a marvel stan even in here trying to throw shade on villain choices? Marvel can now add gotg to their streak of what is it ten straight movies with terrible plot filler villains. And ultron looking to keep up that streak looking like a generic uninteresting robot.

:ehh:

You know now that you mention it the villains in the MCU have been pretty wack. Their biggest hitter was Red Skull and he's already been killed off.

The only villain with any real presence throughout the "series" has been Loki and imo he's never really been all that great to me.

Who knows what kind of presence Thanos is gonna have though. Maybe he doesn't get killed off in A3 and actually lasts for more than one movie.

Well for one, HE IS the godfather of comic book films. He pretty much set the precedent. Also, he DIRECTED Blade Trinity... A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Goyer is a HORRIBLE director, but he is a good at writing comic book and video gaming adaptations. His success way outweighs the losses.
