You know I could pick this whole post apart, just like I could pick that other big post apart, but let's be frank, with statements like this:



What's the point even? That statement is the epitome of being a lame individual yourself because you make assumptions about the viewers in order to dismiss their opinions. You can do better than that but I guess it's just easier to assume that everyone who dislikes the movie is wrong. But this isn't Mad Max: Fury Road where people who dislike the movie are definitely wrong. This is MoS which is an awful movie where the people who dislike it are right. That's the fact of the matter, regardless of how you want to spin it.

and again, as people have said, this sentiment could have been avoided if the movie had shown superman actively trying to save people and prevent further carnage.

instead the movie puts all of its emphasis on the fight and the destruction. the civilians aren't even a factor. just that family at the end, which is random as fukk. as if thousands of ppl didn't just die.

Snyder thinks the way to make superman cool is to blow shyt up. that's all there is to it. only apologists try to apply some deeper meaning to it. he's a fukking hack.

Wouldn't it be smart to neutralize the threat at hand first and then save people? What sense does it make of he's saving a bus of kids meanwhile Zod is knocking down skyscrapers at the wave of a hand? You're stretching the damage Supes did to Metropolis. You're phrasing it as if he set off a nuke in the middle of a city to stop Zod.

There's a picture somewhere that shows the destruction to Metropolis. The only place that's destroyed is the epicenter where the world engine was. Everywhere else skyscrapers are standing. Even during the fight you can see that the majority of the buildings are standing and people are driving around. I think the only building that fell was Wayne's building

It's not 1980 anymore man. Audiences are smart enough to realize if two demigods fought eachother in a major American city, there'd be a lot of collateral damage. I don't see what's so wrong with realistically portraying that.
