They wasted Bane in TDKR, they will use Doomsday and waste him in Batman vs Superman....ya'll just need to accept it for what it is, lazy writing and a studio cash grab
Hell they wasted zod. He was one of the best parts of MOS. but maybe they'll bring him back :troll:

all I could see in the trailer was ben affleck. he just doesn't have that intense gaze.

during their exchange I was more convinced watching cavill.
I think the movie itself will change your mind. It's already been stated that this movie is going to more of a Batman movie anyways because the producers realize that this is potentially a stuffed turkey that has been left in the oven too long...

So lets add some more stuffing and maybe some roasted potatoes around the pan to distract from the ruined main course in the middle

ben affleck could definitely pull off a fun, light hearted batman. like adam west and george clooney. but he doesn't have the intensity or the bass in his voice to pull off the dark, moody batman.

keaton didn't need the effects team to put bass in his voice. affleck almost NEEDS robotic enhancement otherwise ppl would wonder why superman can't beat up ben affleck.

right but the moment you saw RDJ in the trailers you knew it was a perfect fit. someone obviously saw something in him and said "HE IS IRON MAN" and they were right. that was inspired casting.

ben affleck is not inspired casting. its... interesting casting. and going off the trailer, perhaps shytty casting.

Edit: Affleck was nominated for an acting Oscar?
Affleck seemed like a really spot on Bruce Wayne and Batman from the trailers so I am not seeing the shytty casting stuff.

And I was wrong about Ben being Oscar nominated as an actor. I thought he got a best supporting nom for Hollywoodland but he got nominated for that role by the Golden Globes and a couple of the critics societies.

I've been sending Martha Kent money ever since the Death of Johnathan Kent. Feed the Boy, make sure he has Clothes. :ehh: I'm his Father and now it's for him to find out what it's like to be a Man.

nikkas in here arguing acting like they ain't gonna see this day one :mjlol: if anything nikkas are going to wait for the reviews to start coming in if they're hesitant, not a trailer. That embargo date should give us a good idea of the quality of the movie.

WB must have faith though if they're already filming their 4th DCEU movie and only one has been released

time will tell and prove one of us right. yes i am sure I will warm up to him over the course of the film as I become more familiar with him, but as of right now i think he still has a lot to prove.

my prediction, and again i hope i am wrong, is that ben will leave ppl split

Einsenberg and Scoot McNairy look an awful much alike...

They say eisenberg is alexdander luther. I think he's an imperfect clone(hence the goofiness/personality difference) of the original lex, which batman finds out is played by Scoot McNairy.

How about Eisenberg's whole persona? It is very jokey and facetious. Some would characterize that as Marvel like.
And I a Marvel film lover like the jokes displayed, especially by the heroes. I was always checking for this but I'm glad it isn't deadly serious.
I wouldn't call that Marvel like at all. If anything he's just playing a more extreme eccentric version of himself from The Social Network, which is why dude was even cast in the first place.

Also I don't get this whole "making a joke or two" equal trying to be like Marvel.

Like i said before, I think people still have the Nolan trilogy stuck in their heads, and need to remember that Man of Steel started this DC universe and besides the filter, it wasn't dark/gritty or realistic.

The DC films may not have as much humor as the Marvel films but expecting them all to be so dark and serious is setting yourself up for disappointment.

These DC films are going have different directors/writers that all bring something different to the table. Remember the Flash movie is being written by Lord&Miller, the same dudes responsible for the Jump Street films, The Lego movie,Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, etc.

Yeah
:jbhmm:
When Jesse Eisenberg was first cast as Lex Luthor in “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” fans of the comic book villain were initially skeptical. After all, historically Lex Luthor is an older, balder megalomaniac-type, not a long-haired tech mogul with a start-up aesthetic and a company basketball court. It was clear from the beginning that this would be a new version of Lex we’d never seen before.

But now it seems like the plot is thickening even further, as it was revealed today (October 5) that Lex Luthor isn’t the character’s full name. It’s actually Alexander Luthor Jr.… meaning that there was already a Lex Luthor in the DC Cinematic Universe, and Eisenberg is playing his son.

This new bit of info was revealed via Lex Luthor Jr.’s brand new Twitter account, as well as a a fictional write-up of the “new” LexCorp from Fortune Magazine. In the interview, Luthor is described as “a 31-year-old wunderkind who transformed an aging petrochemical and heavy machinery dinosaur into a tech darling of the Fortune 500 in what some call a superhuman feat.
This isn’t without precedent in the comic books, of course — although not as iconic as his dad, an alternate reality Lex Luthor Jr. first appeared in the ’80s and kept showing up every once in while until the ’10s. But it’s the first time this character has ever been given any kind of theatrical representation, and considering that we’ve spent over a year thinking that Eisenberg was playing Luthor Sr., it’s totally blowing our minds right now that he isn’t.

We also learn something else in Fortune’s write-up: that unlike Wayne Enterprises, the company run by Bruce Wayne (you know, Batman), LexCorp has been taking on a lot of military contracts recently, and has a product in the works that Luthor believes will change the world.

“It’s about safety,” Luthor says of this secret new technology. “This is a product that will protect you, and everyone, from threats you don’t even know about yet. I don’t want to scare anybody… much. But there are a lot of threats out there, and they’re here today.”

Sounds awfully like the sort of thing Tony Stark would say about Ultron, if you ask me. Maybe our theory that Luthor might be creating a Braniac-like artificial intelligence is true after all?

The Doomsday reveal aint that big of a deal to see, since there were rumors about it for quite some time. So far, it looks like what Latino Review said about the film months ago is true.
