What major plot points were revealed other than Lex's creation being Doomsday?

Is Superman/Batman/WW teaming up surprising to some people

this was common knowledge only to the fans and those following the production from start to finish.

the casual audience, aka the vast majority of people that will pay to see this movie, might have had no idea. based on the first teaser, the comic con trailer, and also the sneak peak a few days back... it set up superman and batman as the main conflict.

now that's become an afterthought and they are advertising the superfriends. not saying whether that's a good or a bad thing, but the shift in marketing is definitely worth mentioning.

How about Eisenberg's whole persona? It is very jokey and facetious. Some would characterize that as Marvel like.
And I a Marvel film lover like the jokes displayed, especially by the heroes. I was always checking for this but I'm glad it isn't deadly serious.

I never said that. Stop lumping Marvel heads into one person. I never read DC so I don't even know what being like the Joker really means.

until it's confirmed, yall really need to chill on the doomsday talk...i really dont think that's doomsday....as much as people in this thread think it would be good to not make him the main villain in a jl movie(i disagree with that, but whatever), he still is a big enough name that if that was him, they'd say so...

They wasted Bane in TDKR, they will use Doomsday and waste him in Batman vs Superman....ya'll just need to accept it for what it is, lazy writing and a studio cash grab

i didn't say they would bust, i THINK they will bust, but hey who knows. i am just saying that marvel probably wouldn't have cast them.

I don't get why dudes are spazzing out about Doomsday...this is what he looked like when he first showed up in the comics:

Wasn't any spiky bones under there at all.

And then after a couple rounds brawling with Superman the bone growth started:

And in the trailer you can see the beginnings of spikes on his skin so I am sure by the time he really starts getting into it with Supes.Bats/WW he will be looking like his final stage in the comics.

I don't remember the comic implying that Doomsday was constantly evolving. Seemed like he had the bones from the jump

Well its not like Batman and Superman don't fight; its a major part of the trailer since it shows them in acrimonious encounters in and out of costume. Their fight is just not the only conflict in the movie.
So now everyone who thought that Batman and Superman were going to have a 4 movie long bloody Hatfield & McCoy style feud can rest easy in the knowledge that the two super-heroes make up by film's end an become Super-Buddies.
