No... You and a couple others are the only ones who don't understand :heh:

My casual ass family understood the movie perfectly and loved it. I'm the only one whose probably into the comics like that and I definitely understood it:heh:

Honestly.... If you have any type of comprehension skills and paid attention to the movie you could understand what's going on

So they saw Flashpoint Paradox, knew about parademons, and knew about Darkseid's impending appearance?:jbhmm:

I know this movie was meant to be dark but I laugh so many times.

So is metropolis in New Jersey? I thought it was a west coast city.

From what I've read, recently, they've been described like new Jersey and Delaware.

What's the difference between a meta and the characters in Suicide Squad?
They're not considered metahumans... Not usually anyway.

Just dangerous and unstable. Some use magic, possession, mutation, etc but most are just skilled and too dangerous for normal prisons

did they fukking need to to enjoy the film:jbhmm:

They weren't whining or complaining about anything... Unlike a few of you in here:sas2:

I feel bad for Henry Cavill, b/c he defintely seems more than capable, but he gets almost nothing to work with.

dude is DEFINITELY talented, see Man from UNCLE, if he puts that cocky yet professional spin on his Supes there'll be no complaints so we cant blame him, blame the writers who made him into this moody powerhouse

The Truth
The movie itself wasn't deep but things were thrown in that had no relevance to anything else that happened in the movie. These are things that comic writers are creating theories about and you stated makes sense if you saw a different movie before hand. It's not an issue of the movie going over peoples head, it's just not a well put together film. It tried to be deep, failed and the entertainment value dropped because of it. That's why even a lot of those who liked it said it was good not great, mention story, editing and pacing issues and always seem to mention that it's not a perfect movie before saying what they like about it.

The movie wasn't horrible but it had flaws, how much you liked it depends on how much those flaws bother you.
I agree... It wasn't that deep at all. I guess certain things wouldn't have made sense if you didn't catch certain moments earlier or understood some of the DC lore.

That's why I think it's funny that clowns come in here to complain when there's a spoiler thread that explained mostly everything and if you peice certain things together then it's not that complicated or even serious.

Even reviewers were saying that "if they had just said this then it would've been easier to understand why certain scenes were placed after each other" when honestly all you had to do was just watch the movie and chill and things would've came together more. The movie was originally over 3 hours... They edited certain shyt because they had to leave out "them saying why" and just watch.

The movie wasn't the best but not as bad as some of you are trying to say... Especially when shyt is being explained over and over. I guess you need more explanations?

That wasn't the question. You said as casuals they understood it "perfectly" so my question was valid yet you somehow avoided answering it. The question still stands sir. Will you answer at the risk of contradicting yourself?:jbhmm:

I'm not a reader, but I've always thought Superman was a pretty boring character (a common knock, so don't kill me) i don't friggin understand why they couldn't make him "cool." Like what are people gonna do, whine that "Superman is supposed to be fukkin boring! fukkin Snyder/Singer/etc!!!!" ... yeah, probably now that i think about it. Here he was brooding and still boring when he could have easily been a lot more likable. the montage of him saving people was great minus the Holly Hunter lisping over the top dialogue.
