In the end credit scenes Fury PAGED Captain Marvel. Fury is advanced as fukk and had to use a high tech pager to contact her. Do yall think she is still stuck in the 90s where her movie takes place but is somehow able to communicate with Fury in the future?

EDIT: Wait nevermind, if she left earth during the 90s maybe thats the best piece of tech at the time to use for communications and he's just never modified or had to ability to improve on it since then.

She's definitely on a different planet. Something crazy probably happened with her powers that forced her to leave and try to harness and control her powers.

Which will make fury's decision to call her for help even more impactful. Like i can see nick fury about reach for that pager in the 1st avengers and then remembers what she did in the 90s and hes like :whoa:

Shes not an X man. Shes an Avenger character and Jean is a fly compared to her. Without the Phoenix, Jean is a loser. Cant even stop Cable's son by herself.

Whoa now:whoa:

Jean ain't no slouch, breh

She can be annoying, but she's one of the top telepaths/telekinetics who was trained by the top telepath on the planet.

There's a reason why the Phoenix force picked her...

I'm talking canon wise..in the comics..she gets beat all the time. By Sinister. Stryfe. Magneto. Exodus. Dark Riders. Apocalypse. I mean..shes more a character based on potential..she hasnt WHOOPED ASS like Wanda or Nate Grey or even Legion since we going down the telepath/telekinetic route. I was reading about her when you were just a kid and never heard of her. She never really gets the job done...Jean is the heart and soul of the x men and the Phoenix entity is a gimmick to make her interesting because she was never gonna cheat on Scott or anything like that.

Like potential wise..Iceman should stop ANYBODY but he never really does. That's Jean pretty much.

Vision stans?:Mjtithes:

The only person that likes Vision is the actor who plays him

Vision was a straight up liability the entire movie they had to babysit this dude and pray nobody got to his ass. Wanda should have blew up the stone the moment he said anything about it. Would have saved alot of trouble

Even Corvus Glaive was like "I thought you were a formidable machine?!?" :gucci:

Jean is an Omega Level Mutant, 2nd Strongest Telepath in the Marvel Universe behind Professor X

Her Telekinesis can work on the sub atomic level

Jean was in the Danger room doing her thing and damn start reality warping that had Logan running to Professor X scared out his mind saying The Phoenix is returning and X said no that's Jean

Even without The Phoenix Jean is one of The Most Powerful Mutants

This is the youngest version of Spider-Man in movies yet so it's possible it's not 100% reliable at this point.

He had it in "Civil War", which was before "Homecoming".

He has spidy sense in movie's directed by the Russo Brothers because they actually know the character's in their movie. They grew up as comic book nerds. Homecoming was directed by John Watts. :beli:

I'm hoping they get a new director for the sequel. Not that homecoming was bad. It was good for a first movie in a trilogy. But in order to see character growth we prolly need a director who is more James Cameron than Howard Deutch(dude who directed pretty in pink)

It's the same director as "Homecoming".
