SO THIS ISNT A TWO PART MOVIE ANYMORE?

WHATS AVENGERS 4 GONNA BE ABOUT?

It's still a 2 part movie...they filmed them both at the same time and Thanos is the villain in both.

They just changed the name of part 2.

for all my comic brehs... with the least amount of spoilers possible (a lot, a little, none).... what type of time travel fukkery was in this story??

i have a feeling disney bout to kill off characters then do the "rewind time and fix all our mistakes" fukkery... with the time stone and all that...

That is more or less exactly what happens in the original story but they kinda had to....Thanos basically killed everyone.

If they didn't do a "rewind" then Marvel wouldn't exist.

As far as this movie, basically none of the core Avengers cast has contracts past 3 and 4. So expect people to die.

DOESNT SOUND LIKE IT
FROM THIS.

Fandango: Will Infinity War be a set up for the next film in the Avengers story, or does this movie sit as a stand-alone?

Joe Russo: In the way that all Marvel movies sit as a stand-alone this one's a stand-alone. You know there's an experiment in serialized storytelling, so it certainly adds a correlation to the Avengers' story, but it's written in a way that all the Marvel movies have a correlation to each other. One thing that we set out from the beginning and said that we wanted to do from the beginning, was that we'd been disappointed about times we've sat in part one of part two films and it feels like they just took out a pair of scissors and cut the movie in half. And the first film isn't really structured in a way where there's a beginning, middle, and an end. It feels more set up like a first act and half of a second act for the second movie.

Avengers 3 has a beginning, middle, and a very definitive end and Avengers 4 does the same. Of course, there will be elements that carry over — and elements of the [Avengers] story that carry over, but I think you'll have a complete emotional experience in each film.

Would have been nice to have shown him as more of a threat with everything as opposed to just a bow and arrow. Hell he was given the shield after Cap died in the comics.

They should have presented Hawkeye as the most skilled fighter in the bunch with the only reason he isn't the leader is Cap just too strong for him in the long run. That way it wouldn't have been a stretch for him to take a leadership role if something happened to Cap.

He actually runs a branch of the Avengers but that wouldn't be believable with this iteration of the character.

They said they don't want two movies to feel like someone took one movie and cut it in half. So each one has a beginning, middle, and end. A lot of people are taking that to mean it's two separate stories....it's not. Josh Brolin already said Thanos is in the second movie and they definitely filmed both at the same time. If you look at the cast of "Avengers 4" it's the exact same people (minus those that die, obviously) as "Infinity War" plus a few new people (like Captain Marvel).

I like this. Would have been a dope angle. Should have established this instead of his family storyline.
