Yung his father is the most wanted man in the world and his grand pops is the legendary Marine. Yo you know this nikka special b , the only shonen protagonist I can think of who came from a ordinary lineage is Shin from Kingdom. Luffy bought to get that glow

I can live with his father being dragon, even his grandfather since they didn't really raise him. I'm talking he's some sort of chosen by god hero.

I get what you mean. Of course Luffy was special in the sense of his indomitable will, and his ability to make friends. However that isn't the same as being chosen by fate (the opposite of freedom), and that is how this is starting to look.

I feel you...that's kinda why I've been leaning toward theories that make Luffy less "chosen by fate" and more "chosen by the people who pass on Will." Read Romance Dawn back and treat it like a training arc.
- Shanks' crew teaches Luffy what being a pirate is about and the importance of freedom.
- Luffy says he got a pistol punch to shanks before he eats the devil fruit.
- Shanks jokes about Luffy not being able to swim before he eats the devil fruit. (these past two points are why I think he may have let Luffy get the fruit on purpose)
- Shanks gives Luffy the strawhat not just as a gift, but to mark that he's learned Gol D Roger's will.
Wano and a lot of recent stuff feels like it's about how our precursors and mentors pass their wills on to us. I'd like to think that OP is gonna show how Ace, Shanks, and a gang of others were the ones who "chose" Luffy rather than some fated ish. But I'm stuck on Oden setting a timeline...that seems too much like a sign of everyone having destinies.
edit: no evidence for this bit but is just makes sense in my head canon with the theory in mind - I’d guess that shanks went there intending to return roger’s hat (and possibly give that legendary fruit) to Roger’s son. But then he met Luffy and changed his mind. That could explain him sticking around for over a year to prep Luffy and ace hating Roger helps the idea along.

Whitebeard becomes terrible if someone did bad things to his family. He is the strongest pirate in the world!
Mama becomes terrible if she is unhappy! Her family is the most terrible one in the world!
Kaido is terrible just because of his existence! He is said to be the most powerful creature in the world!
Kaido is said to be stronger (physical strength only) than old Whitebeard, but Whitebeard is great in piracy and a far greater pirate than Kaido!
Despite Whitebeard's age (70), his momentum is said to be greater than ever!
Thatch says that to become a Yonkou, one must be at least as strong as Shanks!

The physical strength of the Yonkou is implied to be like this: Prime Whitebeard > Kaido = Big Mom > Old Whitebeard
It is said that no one can stop Shanks if he gets angry. He is ruthless with youngsters who think too highly of themselves and will go out of his way to punish them!
Big Mom is a ruthless business woman and the most dangerous pirate captain because of her deep connections.
The Yonkou do not fight each other because if both fight, neither will survive and most importantly, they believe it might expand the influence of the other Yonkou.
The World Government constantly tries to take back territories slowly from the Yonko but it’s a back and forth thing.
Every Yonko has special island just for food supply and unfortunately the place where Ace and Jinbe fought was Whitebeard’s special food supply island.
When he wasn't sick, Whitebeard could sink entire islands just by getting angry
When Whitebeard defeats an enemy crew, if he finds them to be unworthy, he will take their treasure, sell their ships and just hand them over to a middle agent who will claim the bounty on their heads for Whitebeard
It is said that Kaido is the World’s Strongest Creature because of his apparent immortality and that he’s a ferocious fighter.
Big Mom is said to be a pirate who even Roger Shiki and Whitebeard didn’t mess with in the New World. She ruled over her kingdom by herself and was said to be a special ‘exception’ (probably because of the way she ruled)

Interesting how each emperor deals with defeated enemies differently -
Big Mom - Will probably just eat your lifespan
Kaido - Will kill you if he thinks you're weak, if he thinks you're strong he'll imprison you until you agree to join his crew
Shanks - Will let you live, but will leave you missing a limb just because he doesn't like your ego
WB - Depending on if he likes you he'll either absorb you into his crew, or run your shyt and have his mans hand you over to the WG for the bounty
BB - Will invite you to join his crew, if you refuse then he'll probably just kill you and take your DF
