If next arc is Elbaf then Usopp is going to get a MAJOR upgrade. He has been taking about wanting to meet the giants since the early days of the manga and just this arc he spoke on having CoC and making everyone tremble before him. That's major because Usopp lies end up becoming the truth. Take a look at things now, the only people left who haven't received a monster upgrade recently are Franky, Brook, and Usopp. Franky is about to get some Queen tech so he is good, that means Usopp is due.

Once Nami learns to use Zeus she is going to be a major problem. Only thing she needs is time.

Nobody over-hypes Sanji. If anything, y'all always underplaying him. You're doing it in this post, even. And if anybody is over-hyped, it's Zoro. People actually think he's Yonko level or on Luffy's level or can take Mihawk when it's not even close to true. And going by what's happening now w/ Yamato, he's not close there, either. It's crazy that people are still doubting Sanji even after everything that's been said and how he's being portrayed. And who he's facing off against. Yamato joining the Strawhats won't change anything in that regard no matter how much y'all want it to.

Zoro's gonna have to get close to Luffy's level, otherwise he's the most redundant/useless person in the Strawhats, especially if Yamato joins. If it's getting to the point where 3 other people besides Luffy can defeat Zoro's dedicated opponents then what's the point of his existence?

Zoro doesn't have to be close to Luffy's level to be relevant. He'll always be the right-hand and will always face the #2, just like Sanji will always face the #3. Yamato joining won't change that. This arc further set that in stone.

Zoro beating #2's doesn't really mean much when Sanji/Jinbei/potentially Yamato can do the same thing. Real talk, last time Zoro fought and beat someone that no one other than Luffy can beat is Daz Bones. Given Zoro's role as the 'muscle' that's not very impressive, especially when the others have a more defined role in the crew besides fighting.

Even as a right hand he falls short. Hell, Jinbei's arguably outshined him in that department. He was there for Luffy at his lowest moment after Ace's death, literally gave him his blood, had the pragmatic sense to convince Luffy to ally with Bege against Big Mom.

All Zoro really has is reminding Luffy to get serious and various moments and 'nothing happened', but Sanji was about to do the same thing.

Yeah, I can’t remember if it was a vivre card or a chapter but he straight up says he won’t fight a one armed dude and he’s basically waiting for a swordsman stronger than prime shanks.

Zoro would only hit Luffy if Luffy allowed it. Luffy has advanced COO, Zoro doesn't. Sanji has it now though, he just needs to train it.
