I just finished that one...

shyt just keeps topping itself. Out of all the anime I've seen Luffy may be the best at inspiring loyalty. I think he beats Kamina from TTGL.

IMO the show looked like crap from it's start up until it went HD but not enough for me to turn away because I got attached to the characters and the story was real interesting, I also realize it's part of One Piece's charm now. Reaching the triple-digit episodes though the animation looks pretty great.

fukk yes. Naruto/Bleach/DBZ/OP are all in the same category and One Piece is the GOAT by far.

Chances are yeah you will. One Piece is more over the top in terms of powers, art style and character design and tends to be more light-hearted, but at its best it represents the pinnacle of action shounen. One thing to keep in mind is that One Piece is very much adventure oriented, so a large part of your enjoyment is depended on how much you are interested in the series' locale. In a lot of ways, One Piece bears a large resemblance to Dragonball (rather than DBZ, which was less light hearted and more focused on constant fighting than DB). Don't get it twisted when you hear light hearted tho, OP deals with some heavy shyt and can get pretty damn dark

Personally I think One Piece's cast of characters completely TRUMPS Naruto/Bleach/DBZ's cast. Not only are there some great protagonists, there are fantastic antagonists. And of course the world is amazing, filled with rich history and mysterious lore. There are some slow and nonsensical moments but man when that shyt is good...
