One thing I don't understand about the screeners that have leaked. These are clearly for Oscar voters but every rip of Birdman has been sub-DVD quality, both in sound and video

The only awards anyone should care about are festival awards, and even those don't always get it right (I'm looking at you, Fahrenheit 9/11 Palme d'Or).

C'mon Ralph Fiennes was not snubbed. The role is too well written and therefor not a huge challenge in the eyes of many actors, it doesn't help its also a quirky movie and you could argue that he's a supporting character and you could argue he's the main character
