I (and I'm guessing much of Birdland) kind of feel like that FSU season thread from a couple years ago: Somebody...anybody....do something.

Easily one of the most disappointing teams this winter. They have next to no payroll and they aren’t doing a fukking thing. Not paying Burnes is absolute madness.

Random: I remember when Josh Rojas was absolutely raking at AAA. Stinks that he didn't work out. I know everyone seems to crush it in the PCL but still.

Nick Pivetta is a bit under the radar. I get why teams are shying away from him. They probably don't want to lose a draft pick since he rejected a qualifying offer. But even at 32 he was still solid.

I’ll be interesting if Bergman walks as well, I don’t know if there’s a huge market for him for a long term deal. He seems like a 4 year deal type of guy

If his market was hot, he would’ve signed already. He’s an above average player looking for elite money. Other teams are weary of getting burned by Boras from the Montgomery and Rendon deals which blew up entire payrolls.

Paredes slashed 105/117/317 ops at wrigley and had 9 errors in 52 games dude was awful.

I think he’ll do better in Houston cuz he’s a pull hitter , but I’ll take tucker over anyone in that trade easily.

Last years roster would’ve dog walked the Yankees, they never saw our roster fully healthy (nobody did really).

Christian Javier & Hader are ballers too but I wouldn’t count on you knowing our roster that well. Diaz is probably going to make the all star roster if we keep him at Catcher.

With Soto missing and Tucker now in the NL, the Yankees offense is in worse shape. If we sign Bregman back and a replacement level FA OF to fill in the 7/8 spot production (we had the 3rd worst OPS in ball from 1b, that now slides to RF if Bregman is at 3b and Isaac is at 1b) we are still a top 3 team in the weaker AL.
