There is a part of me that's glad the Yankees didn't commit all that money to Juan Soto.Rosenthal said the Yankees were privately relieved Soto didn’t take that 16 years 760
But I also feel that by expressing that, it comes across as trying to save face or rationalize or juelz the fact that he left.
I have no doubt that Soto will be a great player for the Mets...at least for the next several years.
But when you see the Yankees being stuck with Giancarlo Stanton at age 35, or the Angels stuck with Anthony Rendon.....guys who are injured or largely unproductive....you wonder if you've dodged a bullet.
I mean not every hitter is going to age like David Ortiz.
It's not led by Paredes. It's led by Cam Smith.
Ken Rosenthal isn't a dumb ass like Jon Heyman. But he's still goofy as fukk.

Smith was just drafted in June the cubs have several prospects more advanced and better. Wesneski been a shuttle player up n down to triple a since acquired he has decent stuff but can’t locate it and gives up mad hr’s. Paredes mid af
