There is a part of me that's glad the Yankees didn't commit all that money to Juan Soto.
But I also feel that by expressing that, it comes across as trying to save face or rationalize or juelz the fact that he left.

I have no doubt that Soto will be a great player for the Mets...at least for the next several years.

But when you see the Yankees being stuck with Giancarlo Stanton at age 35, or the Angels stuck with Anthony Rendon.....guys who are injured or largely unproductive....you wonder if you've dodged a bullet.

I mean not every hitter is going to age like David Ortiz.

helluva overpay , definitely gotta make sure he stays after this year.

No it’s not , The cubs gave up more to Tampa for parades

Smith was just drafted in June the cubs have several prospects more advanced and better. Wesneski been a shuttle player up n down to triple a since acquired he has decent stuff but can’t locate it and gives up mad hr’s. Paredes mid af
