Brennan Armstrong is one of CFB’s mysteries, dude looked great years ago
They caught lightning in a bottle that year, he had some weapons too by UVA standards, really talented kids and some unique pieces in a wide open system.. Thought him reuniting with Anae would bring out the best in him but he looked cooked on Friday..

For all of the hoopla and much ado about HideYaKidsUniversity, they are 95th in yards per play and 124th in explosive play rate. Their longest rushing play of year came from their backup QB. Their defense is keeping them in games so the offense can just keep volume outputting against lesser talented teams. And broadie Allair was sailing a lot of passes vs Northwestern. Prob gonna be another ugly game in a couple of weeks fr.

And that's after facing Iowa, which as good as their defense might be they're on the field for 56 minutes a game and shyt so you have 100 drives to score lol

Yea havent watched much of them, only the west virginia and ill games and Allar seemed to become game manager when they expected him to be a playmaker at QB, its understandable as he is just getting his first few starts to offense but he isnt taking shots but also his comp percentage is dropping as more film comes out.. We know Singleton is explosive but something is missing there right now, maybe oline took a step back? They dont have WR stepping up, trey wallace been out for a few games, not sure if he was expected to be the big play guy but a TE and RB are 2nd and 3rd in rec right now, sound like check down offense with QB adjusting, schedule is only gonna get tougher..

Their Defense is playing at ELITE levels and Manny scheme is always high on havoc rate type things (TFLs, Sacks, Turnovers, etc.) but not sure they can keep that trend goin with some great offenses coming up in next few weeks.. Offense gonna have to step up

@Ed MOTHERfukkING G @skyrunner1 It's funny b/c you can look up and see 31-0 or 41-13, statlines and think, "oh, they blew the door of them boys" but then you go back and watch the game or even just a 15 minute highlight video and see the somewhat struggleball happening. Either Allar playing safe/scared or Yurich (forgot he was even over there) is being conservative in hopes of protecting his QB or the cliche "not putting too much on film" so that the big dogs you play against are caught off guard.

I know they had the one guard retire due to medical reasons in the offseason and another line guy just got injured vs NW so that'll be interesting to see how it play out.

Folks already jumping off the bandwagon

:ohhh: :ohhh: :mjlol:

Didn't click the link yet but did they show the # of people who might have started watching, then seeing the game unfold just like the Oregon one and just dipped out?
