New stadium or upgrades?

One thing im REALLY glad Deion has done/proven wrong is that whole stupid ass argument people used to make about a school not being able to recruit well due to location.

shyt was always a dumb ass argument, Mainly saw it with schools like Colorado, Nebraska, etc. that used to be powers be no longer are blaming it on the nationalization of College Football. Just dumb.

What Deion is doing vs the reality of Colorado is two entirely different things, like @Whips-n-Chains said, another coach and none of this is happening Colorado been struggling to get recruits forever, Nebraska too, and now that they are in the big, you can’t convince Texas kids to come play and still get a game in Texas. Nebraskas always had the want to, they just so isolated and a lot of the advantages they had are gone (ironically Colorado and Nebraska used to eat off of half qualifying kids)
The main reason it NEVER made sense to me is because of well Ohio St recruits and has done so with different coaches for the past 20-25 years.

Cause honestly, What's the difference between living in Ohio, Nebraska, or Colorado? :ld:

Proximity to talent, and their winning
Ohio has a traditionally rich football history and talent pool even through that has come down due to more people migration to other areas of the country. Plus OSU has way more prestige and resources available than Nebraska & Colorado so it's easier to get higher quality recruits than those other two schools.
Nebraska has just as much want to as osu the issue is closeness to talent

You can’t compare Deion to a random dude. Former pro players carry cache that can’t be replicated. Once the hype dies down and they are losing games by 20-30 points can he walk back into those living rooms and sell the same dream.

Don’t you compare those Cornhuskers to THE Ohio State University  .
Also, they never been the same after Colorado completed annihilated their defense in 2001. Lost their “black shirt” mystique and haven’t able to regain it ever since.

They had 9 and 10 win seasons post that, the biggest issue was they got tired of Bo and thought they could do better, but they did worse

They had a few winning seasons after 2001 but they were never the same. Bo keep getting into shenanigans so it was understandable why the administration wanted to move on but you are right that they did worse once he was let go.

They also play Clemson 2024, should hear no more complaints about the schedule :pachaha:

Peter Burns from the SEC network said every SEC team is playing either Texas or Oklahoma.

Yep, bout to be some NFL type shyt in the SEC

I’d imagine we’ll have Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn next year, idk the other three
