The point is, without their qb, they don't stand a chance in hell of beating Georgia.

Why are you so certain about this, when the best team Georgia has beaten all year was a close game against a Missouri squad with zero ranked wins....who repeatedly struggled to beat Group of Five teams?

Georgia 30, Missouri 21

Missouri 23, Middle Tennessee 19
Missouri 34, Memphis 27

That's Georgia's BEST win of the season. But you think they'd curbstomp all these teams with better wins than them...based on what, other than your SEC bias?

Did the Alabama team that needed a miracle on 4th-and-31 to beat Auburn stand a chance in hell of beating Georgia? :skip:

We're talking an Auburn team that just lost 31-10 to New Mexico State, and Alabama looked AWFUL against them. But suddenly you're so worried about a Florida State squad that just beat a top-15 ranked Louisville team by double digits.

Predicting the future should play zero role in deciding who goes to the playoff. You pick the teams that DESERVE to be there, not the ones you think will win.
U know damn well Bama is Auburns Natty game. Hell, Bama is everybodys Natty game. That's the downside of being dominant for yrs. I tell u what, not many teams are beating a motivated Auburn team at Jordan Hare. And that game is after a long stretch of SEC games where everyone is trying to knock off Bama.

Its a shame FSU rivalries suck and lack passion

South Florida almost beat Bama, but nobody brings them up. Probably cuz they know the current Bama team is way better than a week 3 or 4 Bama team

Again, if Georgia now, is playing the current fsu team now, who do u think would win? Just answer that. U have to bet your house on the outcome, who u betting on?

The biggest travesty is about to be Michigan. Cuz imo, the only game to they played was OSU. And OSU was overrated. If they get this hobbled asz FSU team in the semifinal...

The committee is in a situation where no matter what, there will be pissed off fanbases, and bytching. I know they are wishing the 12 team format starting this year. NCAA dropped the ball here.
They better piss off those damn Nole fans, they don't want them Bama problems.

If the CFP selection folks wants to see what a 1. Michigan vs 4. FSU semi final will look like in the Rose Bowl, look no further than this Michigan/Iowa game. I dont think they want that

Thing is… we don’t know that for certain. How many times have ppl been wrong about teams this year alone?

The eye test is foolish, the three undefeated teams should be in until they are defeated period. That final spot should go to the team that beat the two time champs.

Or make Texas bama and OSU compete in a triple threat play in tournament lol. But seriously next year can’t get here fast enough
Well Liberty should be top 5 then in that case right?

Should've just let the computers do their thing and spit out the top 4 and have the playoffs based off of it. Was absolutely no reason for old men to get involved and pretend they watch all of these games fr and have this golden eye for seeing who is better than who based on intangibles.

This is the most delusional argument. You're gassing up a 6-6 team that lost by 21 at home to New Mexico State because they were "playing hard that week".

So does Alabama not play hard in their rivalry game? When they're competing for a playoff spot in the next-to-last week of the season, are they not really trying? Or is a motivated Auburn squad just as good as a motivated Alabama squad?

South Florida almost beat Bama, but nobody brings them up. Probably cuz they know the current Bama team is way better than a week 3 or 4 Bama team

I've brought that game up repeatedly and every time I did, SEC fanatics tried to claim that week didn't count. :dead:

We're talking about the same "current Alabama team" that just needed a miracle to beat 6-6 Auburn last week, right? :pachaha:

Tony D'Amato: "EVERYONE KNOWS THAT A WEEK 14 ALABAMA TEAM IS WAY BETTER THAN THAT WEEK 13 ALABAMA TEAM!"

We need a full list of games that don't count anymore

Florida State's blowout over LSU - doesn't count
Texas's double-digit win over Alabama - doesn't count
Alabama needing a miracle to beat Auburn - doesn't count
Alabama struggling to beat South Florida - doesn't count
Louisville beating Notre Dame - doesn't count
ACC Championship - doesn't count
Big-12 Championship - doesn't count

Did I miss any? :skip:

1. Mich 2 washington 3 Texas 4. Alabama

Fsu and Georgia can play each other. We need the top 4 to settle this damn sec dominance conversation. Plus, don’t want a FSU team without their starting QB. The excuses will be endless if they lose the playoff.
