Just curious...from what y'all saw this weekend, the four definitive performances from conference champs were who, in your opinion?

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Here is the harsh reality of the season.

Vols: didn't beat anybody

Bama: Lost at home by double digits to Texas

Dawgs: didn't beat anybody

A&M : Got blown out by Miami

Ole Piss: Beat Tulane by a couple touchdowns

Kentucky: Beat Louisville by 7 and gave up 31 points in the process

LSU: Got blown out by Florida St.

Missouri: Beat K-State by a field goal.

You forgot Florida got washed by Utah.

Missouri barely survived 23-19 against Middle Tennessee and 34-27 against Memphis.

Auburn got their ass kicked 31-10 by New Mexico State

South Carolina was sweating it out against Jacksonville State.

SEC had an awful OOC season, but suddenly they're the best conference again...based on the games they played against themselves?

I've been pointing out all year that SEC teams were getting wildly overrated compared to their actual wins. Y'all told me it wouldn't matter cause "there's a playoff now."

Then time comes to choose the playoff and y'all want SEC squads to be there SOLELY because of vague claims of SEC superiority. :mjlol:

Here is EVERY out-of-conference win for Alabama and Georgia this season:

UT Martin
Ball State
UAB
Georgia Tech
Middle Tennessee State
South Florida
Chattanooga

That's it. That's ALL the outside squads they beat this year. And damn near every one of those games was at home too.

Then what is the purpose of being in a P5 program and going undefeated :skip: . This is why the playoff expansion is a great thing to get rid of this foolishness.

You do all that work for them to say the SEC is in no matter how bad they've been. They can lose one or even two games and still will get in. Before the playoffs I think LSU went 11-2 and full played to get a chip one time.

Yeah it should be the below or this shyt is just really fukking ridiculous.

1. Washington
2. Michigan
3. FSU
4. Texas

Alabama trying to make an argument over an undefeated Florida State, and a 12-1 Texas squad that beat them by double digits on their own home field. :deadrose:

Georgia trying to make an argument with the WOAT out-of-conference lineup and the best team they beat all year was Missouri, who doesn't even have a ranked win. :mjlol:

SEC lovers have NOTHING other than SEC bias to carry them right now. No team from any other conference would get in with the exact same resume.

To raise a conference trophy and develop good men? :skip:

I agree. It's def much needed (even if 12 is too much).

But the way the committee was constructed.... :hubie:

They the ones who say they watch the games together and not only look at resume but HOW a team plays, which is what I thought people wanted...

That use to be the major gripe with the BCS. It was solely based on resume and data and shyt. People wanted the human element and the "eye test" involved cuz u can look at certain teams and tell maybe they don't deserve the ranking.
