Auburn should go after Rhule
They really should.

What he did at Baylor, given how much of a scandal they had, was impressive.

Aranda is a good coach, but Rhule left a good foundation for him.

Auburn hiring him would be a home run.

But it's Auburn, so they probably won't.

I actually said that, listening to this podcast they said he’d be a great fit, but if I’m getting paid 800k a month for 48 months I’m good, I’m sitting down, why sign up for another stressful situation

Rhule ain’t a homerun hire but he’s a good coach. It wouldn’t be the worst thing to hire him but competing against all them SEC teams plus Clemson for the same few recruits ain’t easy. It ain’t Baylor no more, taking a bunch of 3 stars out of Texas and thinking they gone compete week in and week out against future NFL players ain’t gone work that well

Who would you consider a home run for Auburn?

The names I've been hearing besides Rhule from fans is Freeze or Kiffin.

I don't think Kiffin is leaving Ole Miss any time soon and I honestly don't think Freeze is all that. Freeze isn't bad, but he isn't going to win anything significant. Also now that everyone can pay players without hiding it, his recruiting competitive advantage is questionable in this NIL era.
