@Gil Scott-Heroin has zero idea about talent or basketball. Wiseman is the best prospect in this draft period. He’s been NBA ready for 2 yearsU bash wiseman but want this athletically deficient bum?

Oh it’s guaranteed alright.Next years pick isn’t guaranteed, it’s protected and you know the twolves history.
Wiggins and Deni are not comparable in anyway, totally different players
I think LaMelo is a great prospect for a franchise who's been loitering around in the lottery for far too long and hasn't had any real relevance lately. At the very least, he'll be must-watch TV and will breathe life into some team that's been on life support.
The fact you keep bringing up Luka has me questioning how much tape you've actually seen of Deni. He's a completely different type of player to Luka - he really couldn't be further from him. It's just a lazy ass comparison all because he's a "Euro".
I can only tell you what Wiggins did in gs, he played fantastic defense when he came over here. I’m sure Draymond screaming at him had something to do with it but he did. Wiggins role is simple, defenses will sag to the splash bro’s leaving him one on one straight to the rim. I think he’s going to be fantastic as the number 3 option. We all know he’s not a number 1 and never will be.Oh it’s guaranteed alright.
And I don’t think they’re comparable, but what’s Wiggins’ role then? If his role is to just get buckets then don’t start him. If you’re expecting him to just be a defensive stopper, that’s not gonna happen, and Deni will likely be more impactful because he can play small ball 4; Wiggins can’t. If everyone expects Wiggins to be the new Barnes, Barnes wasn’t a bucket getter at Golden State. He was lower usage and contributed more on defense. Avdija is more equipped to thrive in that role than Wiggins is.
When your drafting that high you go for the hr. Draft mediocrity and you get mediocrityI think none of the players in the top 5 are "fantastic" (I think LaMelo could one day become that tho), but Deni does a little bit of everything well and he would fit on any of the teams in the top 5. He has the least chance to bust than anybody probably. So if you don't want to be risky, you pick him.
He's the opposite of a reach IMO
That's only because people are projecting a theoretical version of Deni into the NBA... Not the guy who is actually on tape... "In theory" he's this fluid secondary ballhanding/playmaker with a high iq high motor that'll shoot well enough to keep the defense honest... real Swiss army knife kind of dude...Deni's fit is why he's valued the way he is. He can fit anywhere. If you're trading down to get him, tough to get mad at it, but if Avdija goes top 2, it's telling everyone that the best player in this class is a complementary role player.

In REALITY however he's a mediocre 33% 3 point shooter that shot a pathetic .58 % from the line which should certainly caution anyone from automatically projecting him out as this + shooter ... His wingspan was last measured at 6'9" which is also rather mediocre for a guy projecting to be a swing forward defensively... His lateral footspeed isn't exactly explosive ..he's more of a straight away guy.. so one can definitely question his ability to defend high level F's in the NBA ... His off the dribble game is rather embryonic... No real secondary moves no real wiggle no real special ballhanding pretty upright and stiff from a guy you who will need the ball in his hands to maximize what he's "projected" to be ... to me thats scary ...way too many red flags
... Now this draft unlike any we've had before because these prospects have had an additional 5 months to work on their holes as prospects ... So if he's somehow fixed his shooting ... Learned a whole new capability with his dribbling yeah sure there may be something there .. but as of now if people are expecting this kind of prime Gordon Hayward-y swing forward I just doubt that happens ... If he ends up not being able to shoot ...and can't do anymore than staright line driving it's going to get real late real early for dude
I would be shook if my bulls took him as I think that's a terrible fit considering we don't have the passing to get him enough easy open looks ...but a team like GS could actually be the best spot for him ... There's a culture of ball movement and spacing that may allow his game to cultivate like it did for Draymond ... And if he can learn how to be that additional playmaker from a dude like Draymond (who's similarly built albeit longer) I think that could be a mutually beneficial situation..

Yep.And people want this guy in the top 10
I want wiseman, I’m going for the hr
he’ll either be great or bust, I’ll take that any-day over mediocrity
Deni reminds me of Hedo a lot
I know bruh ...I'm spookedThe bulls are the team reported to like him the most
Wiseman's problem to me is 1 he's not exactly a proven jumpshoter which limits your offensive diversity as a primary scorer in today's NBA .. and then 2 he's kind of a black hole .. once you toss him the ball he's either shooting or passing it out to get it back ... He's not this creative ball mover that will keep your offense fluid with his passing from the post (high or low) and he definitely hasn't shown consistent off the dribble ability to justify making him a high usage offensive threat ...idk I like him because of the physical aspects but he has warts tooAnd people want this guy in the top 10

As soon as @LezJepzin picks, I'll keep this in mind
