Why not? There similar in height. Don’t all sf’s get compared with each other? The fact you keep bringing up Luka has me questioning how much tape you've actually seen of Deni. He's a completely different type of player to Luka - he really couldn't be further from him. It's just a lazy ass comparison all because he's a "Euro".
He has a ceiling where he can become more than just a role player. The Warriors are the best fit for him because they play a brand of basketball that will accentuate all his strengths, and he'll be alongside like-minded players who have the same feel for the game. He'd be wasted on a lottery team.Deni's fit is why he's valued the way he is. He can fit anywhere. If you're trading down to get him, tough to get mad at it, but if Avdija goes top 2, it's telling everyone that the best player in this class is a complementary role player.
And there it is. You haven't seen enough of Deni. Why not? There similar in height. Don’t all sf’s get compared with each other?
How do you think he would fit on the BullsHe has a ceiling where he can become more than just a role player. I think his fit is fine in Golden State (it renders Wiggins useless since they wouldn't ask Deni to do anything they're not asking Wiggins to do, but that's another topic). I just think at #2, you wanna draft who can potentially assure you won't be drafting that high again. Now, I do wonder whether Golden State having a guaranteed top 7 pick next year changes how they approach the construction of the team. Maybe they get a good fit now and next year they can pursue a future cornerstone. He has a ceiling where he can become more than just a role player. I don't mind it. He can act as the point forward for y'all, I just worry whether or not that's too much for him on a team that doesn't really have any other playmakers to balance out the load nor really has much semblance of team play. How do you think he would fit on the Bulls
I remember after dirk became a big thing, teams started to reach for euro players like crazy with disastrous results. I get it luka is fantastic, Deni is not fantastic or special
I respectfully disagree with this.I think his fit is fine in Golden State (it renders Wiggins useless since they wouldn't ask Deni to do anything they're not asking Wiggins to do, but that's another topic).
Regardless of who the Warriors draft, they most certainly won't be drafting that high again (on their own account). After all, they're not your typical lottery team. That #2 pick is all about fit for maximizing their title hopes next season, IMO.I think his fit is fine in Golden State (it renders Wiggins useless since they wouldn't ask Deni to do anything they're not asking Wiggins to do, but that's another topic). I’ve see enough, I wish he was more consistent in creating his own shot.He has a ceiling where he can become more than just a role player.
