The fact you keep bringing up Luka has me questioning how much tape you've actually seen of Deni. He's a completely different type of player to Luka - he really couldn't be further from him. It's just a lazy ass comparison all because he's a "Euro".

:unimpressed:
Why not? There similar in height. Don’t all sf’s get compared with each other?

Deni's fit is why he's valued the way he is. He can fit anywhere. If you're trading down to get him, tough to get mad at it, but if Avdija goes top 2, it's telling everyone that the best player in this class is a complementary role player.
He has a ceiling where he can become more than just a role player. The Warriors are the best fit for him because they play a brand of basketball that will accentuate all his strengths, and he'll be alongside like-minded players who have the same feel for the game. He'd be wasted on a lottery team.

And there it is. You haven't seen enough of Deni.

How do you think he would fit on the Bulls

I think his fit is fine in Golden State (it renders Wiggins useless since they wouldn't ask Deni to do anything they're not asking Wiggins to do, but that's another topic). I just think at #2, you wanna draft who can potentially assure you won't be drafting that high again. Now, I do wonder whether Golden State having a guaranteed top 7 pick next year changes how they approach the construction of the team. Maybe they get a good fit now and next year they can pursue a future cornerstone.

I don't mind it. He can act as the point forward for y'all, I just worry whether or not that's too much for him on a team that doesn't really have any other playmakers to balance out the load nor really has much semblance of team play.

Duval County
I remember after dirk became a big thing, teams started to reach for euro players like crazy with disastrous results. I get it luka is fantastic, Deni is not fantastic or special

I think none of the players in the top 5 are "fantastic" (I think LaMelo could one day become that tho), but Deni does a little bit of everything well and he would fit on any of the teams in the top 5. He has the least chance to bust than anybody probably. So if you don't want to be risky, you pick him.

He's the opposite of a reach IMO

I respectfully disagree with this.

Adding Deni into the equation would only benefit Wiggins, and I can't see the Warriors asking Wiggins to initiate the offense or run the break like they would with Deni. Wiggins shouldn't be asked to do any handling of the ball unless it's a straight drive to the rim. The fewer times that he's put into situations where he has to make decisions, the better. Whereas you want the ball in Deni's hands and you want him to make decisions.

Regardless of who the Warriors draft, they most certainly won't be drafting that high again (on their own account). After all, they're not your typical lottery team. That #2 pick is all about fit for maximizing their title hopes next season, IMO.

Next years pick isn’t guaranteed, it’s protected and you know the twolves history.

Wiggins and Deni are not comparable in anyway, totally different players

If the Warriors can’t flip their pick for a star player, Wiseman should be the pick. Has size, athleticism, very high ceiling and can guard multiple positions once he’s taught.

Anthony Edwards is a bust waiting to happen, which is why the Wolves will probably take him if they can’t find anyone to trade with.

Lamelo will be a very good PG in the league, I can see multiple teams looking to move up to get him.

Picks 4-30 are really a toss up. I don’t see many special players or even NBA starters for that matter.

I’ve see enough, I wish he was more consistent in creating his own shot.
