You guys ever try those Fanspeak mock draft simulators? They're fun as hell

Just finished one, and it's highly unlikely the Jets draft would play out like this. But if it did, I'd be doing backflips like an 01 Jeff Hardy :ohlawd:

Round 1: Leonard Fournette - RB, LSU
Round 2: Charles Harris - OLB, Missouri
Round 3: Kevin King - CB, Washington
Round 3: Jordan Leggett - TE, Clemson
Round 5: Eddie Jackson - S, Alabama
Round 6: Roderick Johnson - OT, FSU
Round 7: Chad Kelly - QB, Ole Miss

Pretty decent part of me feels the same way.

Last top 3 DE that really lived up to the hype was Julius Peppers. That was 15 years ago in a different game. Mario Williams was barely a top 5 DE in his prime and he wasn't even hyped up to be too much more than that.

If Myles ends up less than or even equal to Mario after all this hype then I'd say he's a "bust" in the sense of being underwhelming. I think he'll be Justin Smith at the very least, so not a true bust, but I think that's far more likely than him being Watt-level at any point.

You're not getting 3 first rounders with your first 3 picks. And little chance Eddie Jackson falls to the 5th round.

This mock is too pie in the sky.

Myles Garrett is Bruce Smith 2.0.

Future first ballot Hall of Famer IMO.

He's the easiest player to project in this class. He's almost built in a lab to rush the passer. I'll be shocked if he isn't first team all-pro by his second season.

If he goes to a team that coaches him up he can be good. Danielle Hunter was a raw DE that had great measurables and the Vikings turned him into a 12.5 sack guy.

I still think he's a bust, folded in too many games against decent competition.
