Looks like Dobbs has worked his way up to a solid Day 2 pick now.

I've said for a while he would go a lot higher in the draft than most expect. 2nd round is a definite possibility now.

I just heard a Bears source say the Bears are highly interested in Dobbs and would take him 3rd round, they draft early 2nd round and its to early there (they also draft early 3rd)

"7th best QB in the draft"

lmao at these tweets u keep posting that are supposed to be making Dobbs look good

Derek Carr was a 2nd round pick. Dak Prescott was considered the 6th or 7th best QB last year.

I predict NFL success not draft position. What these draft experts are saying don't matter. I just cite them to let people know what range they can expect Dobbs name to be called on draft day.

He will ultimately exceed that draft position big time.

what team you see the best fit for Dobbs?

That's tough cause there are two routes for Josh to go. One is to go to a bad team with no QB so he can't get immediate playing time. In that case, I think San Francisco is the best fit followed by Cleveland. Both have offensive minded head coaches who are QB gurus and both teams have solid offensive lines. Shanahan did wonders with RG3 as a rookie and the west coast offense suits Dobbs skill set.

The other route is going to an established contender with an aging veteran QB where he can serve as the backup for a couple of years and then take over. Pittsburgh and the Giants are the best fits in that regard.

Overall though, the best of both worlds might be Houston. They have a roster ready to compete immediately and no veteran QB on the roster that is a surefire starter. It's possible Dobbs could win that starting job in training camp and lead the Texans to the playoffs as a rookie a la Russell Wilson.

Interesting. They haven't done a private workout with him yet nor have they brought him in for a visit. They might be trying to keep their interest in him quiet.

I could see him beating out Mike Glennon in training camp. Sorta like how Russell Wilson beat out Matt Flynn after he came over on a big money move as a free agent.

Allen and Jones are terrible picks.

Dobbs, Baker, and Butt are good picks.

Kupp is meh.
