Defensively they would have to do it anyway, true. If they trade Jah they should get Simmons but if they trade Nerlens then they should lean towards Ingram

If you get Okafor, you have to have the perfect storm though. You need a defensive C like Whiteside or Biyombo and you need to trade Randle. It's too difficult, I'll pass.

A defensive player that can't shoot just puts you exactly where philly was with Noel and okafor.

You need a floor spreader

Okafor is not all world, but he's better as a rim protector than he gets credit for

Nah, Jah can't play PF, that's part of the reason he and Noel just don't work together.


The type of PF you need next to him would be like Millsap, Draymond, Kristaps, Ibaka types who can defend quick guys and also spread the floor on the other end.

Why would philly do that when they could keep that laker pick and just do it with Boston for free?

Next years draft is supposed to be crazy, they'd be foolish to give up that pick
