Damn man how spoiled are yall they built week 1 up for TV and I'd say it was a success we can't eat good like this every week. I think Week 3 is gonna be better than Week 1 much more impactful games on the slate.

The high school hype is something else man. FSU got raped royally with Jared Jones getting dismissed, McPherson eventually getting dismissed, and Mauer making the smart move and going to baseball. Rix being backed up by Fabian Walker

thats why as a vet fan i temper expectations until game action. even guys with great level of comp in HS, you just never know until they get in there and have to compete. some guys thrive on competition, other guys fade. Jason Geathers came into that Miami backfield expecting to eat and ended up buried behind 3* Clinton Portis really quickly. tried WR never took

That top 50 in 2001 for FSU did nothing outside of Cro Thorpe. Jerome Carter did alright but damn that entire top 100 for FSU in 01 was bust central damn no wonder FSU started going south. Compare it to the 99 class even though it was lower ranked way more impact players fukking Womble and Dockett were starting in title game vs Oklahoma the following year and of course Anquan Boldin came in as a QB but was able to contribute on title team in 99 when we lost P-Dub and Coles.

i thought Jackson had a Pro Bowl future, he was really good but was just a guy with the Colts. reminds you to appreciate the guys that do it at all 3 levels, it aint guaranteed

Yeah Jones fukked us over post Weinke even though I think he was gonna be ass anyway at least he had been in program for 3 years. Yeah FSU took a big L this class when it came to QB took until 08 for FSU to find a solid starter at the QB position the 04 class was ass too Lee and Weatherford were bust too.
