Dragan Bender is playing for Croatia and Furkan Kurkmaz is playing for Turkey. Both are projected top 10 picks next year.
Also Egemen Guven is playing for Turkey. He is a projected 1st rounder.

Like I said all the games are streaming live on Youtube and I believe you can rewatch them as well.

Obv US are the favorites but Croatia and Turkey should give them a nice challenge

Good looking out on the stream I've been meaning to catch a U19 game.

I saw FIBA and I just don't see it. I think Briscoe can develop into a Andre Miller type with time but he does not have burst and he doesn't compensate for his lack of explosiveness with change of speeds. Add in the fact that he doesn't have a good enough jump shot to keep defenses honest off the ball screen and I'm not high on him.

I guess if you like guys like Marcus Smart then you should theoretically like Briscoe.
He finishes at the rim a lot better than Harrison and he isn't a 3 point shooter but has a very smooth mid range game.
I mostly like his all around game, particularly his rebounding and ability to get to the rack and make a plays for himself or for others.
He seems like a much more "winning" player than Harrison. Basically a better feel for the game and bball iq

Celtics had the best draft in my opinion. They came up like a mufukka. All they need is a couple above average free agents and they're good in the east.

I don't know much about Kevon Looney so I'm not going to speak on our pick. He says the hip rumors was bullshyt though.

Also apparently Tyler Dorsey (top 30 incoming freshman , 6'4 guard, going to Oregon) is playing for Greece.

:wtf:
I like Dorsey and the Greeks have a few talented guys of their own so thats an interesting squad as well

Edit: sorry was thinking of someone else. I'm not as high on this guy. I was thinking of Tyler Davis, still interesting though

I loved than pick and he will fit great with you guys. I don't expect him to be a huge contributor right away, especially with the depth you have but he is in a great environment to develop his skills.
The only thing is I hope he doesn't get stuck behind Speights, Lee (if you can't trade him), Ezeli, Bogut and Green.
You guys hopefully can move Lee and as Looney develops, he can take Speights' spot eventually

Speights will be gone sooner than later. Lee too. We'll probably keep McAdoo though.

How do you figure? RJ Hunter was a good get but Terry Rozier seems pretty redundant. Then they went and drafted another guard in the second round.

I don't really expect much of anything from the late rd picks they may or may not be productive...But looking over the past decades worth of drafts most aren't playing at all.

I love Briscoe breh. I'm just worried that he won't get PG reps next to Ulis and will get labeled a "combo" but in Cal's offense there is no true PG anyway.
also I'm sorry to tell you, and i maybe wrong, but from what I've seen Charles Matthews is :ld: Prob won't get a lot of minutes.
I actually think he's underrated and will surprise people, but I could be entirely wrong. From what I understand he has dealt with a few injuries his senior year and made him drop in rankings. All I want from him is a lockdown defender, rebounder, and glue guy. I remember people saying before last season that Devin Booker was a 4 - year player and probably wouldn't contribute much his freshman year :mjlol:
