what would you give it? should we chalk up another 3.5 mic album for nas? lol
Aight, I just watched the first 4 minutes of that "review" and I see why people are upset 
. I had to stop after he said the guest features are political. I'll give him Miguel, but just about every other feature Nas has a strong relationship with the person.
There's some other shyt that irked me too, but I'll leave it at that. Long story short, he ain't a hip-hop fan but he tries to sell himself off as one...shyt like that irks the hell outta me. fukk outta my culture hipster

i give it 4 mics overall. i liked the bonus tracks minus nasty. where's the love and the black bond are vintage nas to me.

That's exactly why people say he sold out. Nas may have the largest group of stupid fans of any "smart" rapper.
Let me first say the only rap albums I listen to from track 1 to the last track are Nas albums so there's really nothing to compare it to. Niothing else...Nas is the only artist I check for anymore. And I didnt even listen to the Untitled album because it just seemed wayyy too off the wall political...
His review is a bit all over the place, but he actually tried to back up what he was saying, which is nice.
There are some throw away tracks. The Swizz song is awful. The song with Anthony Hamilton is a bit cheesy.
I thought Locomotive, Queens Story and Reach Out were vintage Nas, which is the best you're going to get.
The album is getting a bit overrated and I do agree with his take that Nas has struggled to bring you that entertaining single with replay value other than If I Ruled the World. Made You Look and Nas is Like were both crossover street that happened to be catchy and it worked. He's right about Got Myself a Gun and Hate Me Now being extremely tacky and dated. I cant listen to either of those songs and I thought they were corny when they came out.
All things considered, Nas is still good and that's pretty remarkable since he's been around forever now.

He said his makeover felt "reactionary" and that he wasn't very good at that style. I agree with him on both.
He said something like Nas started rapping about violence, drugs and excess AFTER Illmatic. The first verse of the first song on Illmatic talks on all three topics, Did this dude not hear illmatic or what

End of the day, the album is still getting good reviews. Some people like it, some people dont. Still think he was harsh and that is about it.
