This and Born on the Fourth of JulyThis is Tom Cruise's best performance. HANDS DOWN.
This whole movie was a moment.
Didn't Jamie take his girl after this role ?
That doesn't count, he didn't hook up with her until she started looking like her last name status.Didn't Jamie take his girl after this role ?
Probably the most powerful scene in any movie ever:
The real world ethering of the success avoidant personality and its coping strategies here as well as so much more that was at play throughout the entire deal was a masterclass in levels of details.
Used it to focus the attention of many, many people who wanted to learn how to win.

As a former Uber driver that shyt hit deep. Cause I used to ask myself that question every day.....the majority of people live their whole lives never taking a chance. Never taking a risk. Knowing they have talent but not willing to put in the sacrifice or the time to do anything with it.Popped a fresh bottle of Ether and poured it all over him with that comment.
Its amazing when you think about how much truth there is in movies when it comes to things like this. Wisdom that is almost entirely missing from the educational system and so many other aspects of modern life.
Intriguing to ponder because the human mind will accept anything in that state because "its just entertainment" but there are those who look and the few who see.
Truly the only thing holding you back in this life is you. This movie highlights that perfectly....
