ATL
You ain’t been to Atlas yet? :dwillhuh:

It’s in the St Regis above Chops and next to The Garden Room. Atlas is dope asf

I’ve been to every restaurant on the list and was just at the Garden Room and Chops. There’s plenty other restaurants better but this list is built using cac metrics, FOH. Mufukkas know they can overate some shyt :russ:

Of course the ATL
I didn’t know Low Country was black owned. I prefer them over most Cajun boil restaurants. Wings in the bag with everything? :ohlawd:

Uhh nah, it’s a high end steak place, you can do a Cajun boil at anyone of the numerous Juicy Crab knockoffs around town

What are your Top 3
Ranking is hard but ill give you some cities I have above ATL

-Louisiana in general but ill say NOLA
-Savana GA
-Charleston
-Houston
-Miami (Soulfood + Latin + Afro caribean)

Mind you, Ive spent more time in ATL than all of these cities combined and I find ATL's food scene to be a gimmicky and repetitive. AND.. the soul food in general seems a bit watered down in comparison to aforementioned cites or places like Mississippi, Memphis ETC. too much copy paste seafood boils, wing spots. The places that are trying to be "trendy" and experimental don't do that well. I really don't find that culinary identity/soul in ATL the way that the south in general has it. Ive never been anywhere where people hype more restaurants that are mediocre to me.

True, Atlas was a favorite of mine b/c of the art/decor and food but them portions small asf :mjlol: I thought that shyt was a joke but one bite run you about $30

Surprised Nobu didn’t get a star, probably my favorite new sushi spot b/w them and Umi :ohlawd:

Garden Room is my favorite little meeting spot in the city, grab a drink, enjoy the scenery and chop it up.

Lobster tails at Chops :banderas:

Good post

What is exactly is Atlanta's culinary identity?

Can you elaborate on “gimmicky” and “repetitive”? I respectfully disagree with your list but want to get your thoughts on the ATL dining scene
