North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
I doubt there will be another Spider-Man for Phase 4
You won't see another Spider-Man movie before 2024-25 and I believe it will be more Sony than MCU

yeah. They basically reset MCU Peter Parker into Sony.

And it’s kinda fukked up, because they indirectly tainted previous marvel movies by erasing Peter Parker from the equation.

How? There is no one from the Sony universe around and Sony is committed to working with Feige on new movies.

Studios don't leave $ on the table like that. 2024 is the latest it will drop probably more like 2023.
its already 2022 and no one has signed on for the next Spider-Man
Holland already tired of it and probably wants a break
Sony and Marvel haven't worked out anything yet and Sony believes they can do it without Marvel
No way you are seeing anything before 2024

Feige has already mentioned the fourth movie is in development. Holland’s pretty much on vacation right now but by all accounts, he’s due to sign another contract with them after negotiations are sorted.

The last quote from Sony is they are committed to working with Feige and don't want to put fans thru what they did previously with the brief breaknup. What are you talking about?!

"Two people have been involved with the franchise in one capacity or another since its start: Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige. As the top movie executive at Sony from 1999 to 2015, Pascal was responsible for the first five live-action Spider-Man movies; she has produced the last three. Feige worked on the early Spider-Man movies in various capacities, initially in relative obscurity, and has been a producer of the last three in his role as president of Marvel Studios.

The two spoke to me via video from their homes in Los Angeles. These are edited excerpts from the conversation, including — beware — some “No Way Home” spoilers.
Let’s start with an easy one. Kevin, please lay out your future Marvel Cinematic Universe road map for Spider-Man. I want details.

FEIGE What?

What’s the next M.C.U. crossover movie? “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” coming in May? Maybe that “Fantastic Four” reboot? Don’t say “I don’t know” because I know you know.
FEIGE He’s going to show up sometime. The when and the where, of course, is the fun part — and the part that we don’t talk about.

What about the next stand-alone Spider-Man movie? Amy, you said last month that you and Kevin — Sony and Disney — are going to collaborate on three more, which seemed to catch the studios by surprise.

PASCAL We’re producers, so we always believe everything will work out. I love working with Kevin. We have a great partnership, along with Tom Rothman, who runs Sony and has been instrumental, a great leader with great ideas. I hope it lasts forever.

That sounds like a classic Hollywood walk back.

FEIGE Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about — yes, we’re actively beginning to develop where the story heads next, which I only say outright because I don’t want fans to go through any separation trauma like what happened after “Far From Home” [the previous Spider-Man movie, in 2019]. That will not be occurring this time.

The reason this isn't really a problem is because 1) they can bring back Ironman or Cap whenever they want. Them two aren't Will Smith or Keanu Reeves. They might be working on other projects now, but nothing thats going to be in the spotlight on the level of marvel film. Offer them enough money and boom they right back where they started. Secondly, Marvel owns so many properties now one of them is bound to make that leap to being the status of Cap or Iron man. Daredevil could very well be the next mantel holder or Punisher, FF4 or x-men might hold those spots in the future. Plenty of these character have headlined their own franchises before. Why wouldn't they be able to do it again under the MCU umbrella?

They will be fine.

Like at this point in comparison to any other studios and I’m not just speaking on the low hanging fruit one.

Fiegie and his team have more than proven they plan shyt out far and are more than prepared. They also will make whatever necessary adjustments and flexibility’s.

Like are y’all still forgetting they have a literally room that has a scroll that plots out their whole direction?

2 or 3 years ago they revealed out they have their plans set out to 2024 and undisclosed to about 2026.

By now I think it’s not a stretch to assume they have a plan out to 2031/32

They don’t have problems, they have minor inconveniences. We seen what problems are.

This ain’t capping or :cape:

The process is proven

This has been a concern of mine too. How the fukk do you replace Tony Stark? RDJ is older but what is Chris Evans excuse? He’s still young. These actors don’t like being typecasted but just accept it. Chris Evans will never do anything that will move the crowd like Captain America

It will never happen.

I hope in this next phase they do Hulk justice and really do him right.

Dr. Strange should not be carrying any flags for the MCU.

It has to be Spider-Man or Hulk

Bringing back Ironman will be A LOT more expensive than Cap. Based on his previous Marvel contract, RDJ will be able to command more bread than ever before as there’s no way he’d do it again without a percentage of the profits as he did before.

Ironman was B/C list hero and RDJ while supremely talented wasn't any type of box office draw when he got the part. They built him up to the status he was by the time they killed the character I think they can do it again.
And Chris Evans was a straight nobody who is only a decent actor. And look you are pining for his return. lol

A bunch of armchair Fiege's in here. Just relax man and stop looking for problems when there currently aren't any. They have way more avenues and storylines to pursue now that these TV shows are taking off which means way more opportunities to introduce more characters. Yall acting like they just throwing shyt at the wall and seeing what sticks. I'm not saying they are perfect and some movies weren't that great but let's not act like these scripts and moves aren't planned out years in advance. Tony and Cap are gone get over it. No one had faith in RDJ back in 08 when Ironman was announced and truthfully Chris Evans still had the stink on him from those FF movies. All I'm saying is just give shyt time instead of predicting doom and gloom on the horizon. They gonna be alright.
