It’s weird, maybe it’s me but…I’ve never seen so many get glee from wanting a movie to fail. A lot of YouTube videos have been circulating around talking about how this movie will suck etc while being a bit too happy about it. I kind of cringe to be honest.

For some reason this movie got in the middle of the sjw, incel, woke, maga BS the internet is full off, I don't know if the lead or the director said something or if leftist youtubers started talking about empowerment so the right responded with hating on it, wasn't really paying attention but it became a symbol for both sides.

I saw in theaters and thought it was MEH, but it doesn't surprise me its getting a sequel since fukking ant man got 3 movies not to mention Shang Ji and the eternals but whatever, its not my 300 million dollars.

The movie doesn't look like it is going to be that great or compelling so in a way I agree. If anything it should spark shrugs and a lack of caring. But Marvel been winning for a long time now that they are some people who like to see the mighty fall. There are many reasons for the hate making it seem very intense. Which it is, Marvel just played into it by making it so overtly about women and ethnic representation. And again inorganically which is the worst thing of all apparently.
